teapart07 still down?

This is getting rediculous. Many people have offered to host for free. This site is a must to have up.

Both with www and without are up for me.

I think they switched IP adresses and the new one still has to propagate through the internet. Some DNS servers take longer to be updated, or something. I think someone said some of the cable companies have long delays between DNS updates.

Yahoo + GoDaddy =

If you still cannot access teaparty, do the following

In Windows 2000 + XP

Go to the START button

Click on RUN

Type in "cmd" (without the quotation marks, just cmd)

In the black window that pops up, type in

ipconfig /flushdns

it will give you a response

type exit and hit ENTER

Now try it.

Not sure if you saw Nathaniel's post this morning about going to a dedicated server here (below)... hopefully any traffic problems will be solved when this switch occurs:

Hi Everyone,

We will be dotting our i's and crossing our t's in the next few days. At this point, after the website fiasco the yesterday, and the treatment at the CNN "debates", December 16th is even more important than ever.

At this point it is better to trust one of our own. We will be going dedicated and have a dedicated and trusted tech. Hopefully, there will be minimal disruption with this move. We will let you know when the move is complete.

Nathaniel

For newer members who don't know, Nathaniel Yao is the owner of the TeaParty07.com domain. Trevor Lymon is working with him as the webmaster for that site.

Shouldn't they host banner images off-site (photobucket, imageshack, etc)? Their server is taking thousands of hits just feeding banner images.

I copied a teaparty banner to photobucket here (anyone can use this):

That will at least get the banners working at the Ron Paul Library. We had a big increase in traffic after the debate and I hate to miss those visitors.
