TEA PARTY CANDIDATE BENTIVOLIO WINS MICHIGAN 11 HOUSE PRIMARY

Michigan 11 seems alot like the 4th district of Kentucky. Affluent, heavily Republican, recently redistricted....there are probably other similarities. Maybe someone who is a lot smarter than me could figure out why these districts just nominated anti-fed, anti-war, pro-civil liberties tea party candidates???
Guerilla campaigning and LFA

Freedom is popular!

(And hard work and money doesn't hurt either...)

Completely different reasons. They nominated Kerry mainly because he was the only name on the ballot, and they nominated Massie in KY-4 for other reasons. Mainly tea party support I would imagine.

Ah, I see what you're saying. They just wanted an (R) candidate. Hmmm.

my point is that i dont think there is any correlation between affluence and liberty candidates being nominated. the fact that 2 liberty leaning rep's won in affluent, redistricted, heavy republican districts is merely coincidence.
