Tate County Mississippi Strong For Ron Paul

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?374222-RNC-Rule-38

There's no bigger "ethical" argument than doing anything one can to curtail violations of people's liberties

Discharging my duty as an elected delegate to the voting citizens of Mississippi is not a violation of their civil liberties.

Lying about my intentions and my actions would be.

Your standards may be different.

Unfortunately, campaign & most Paul-supporters don't want to hear it, they think everyone thinks like a Paul-supporter & cares about "useless" things like integrity, one look at the government tells us how much people care about integrity, it's deluded to think that they do, they don't; they only care about winning & that's precisely why Romney is leading because he's "most electable & capable of beating Obama"

Then by all means continue to support Romney if that is your desire while I'll keep working to get Ron Paul the nomination in Tampa..

As for your opinion of the "campaign & most Paul-supporters", why that simply betrays your position right there, you think they are not as intelligent as you are and somehow are acting against the very things we actually support.

My opinion is that the campaign and most Ron Paul supporters are more astute than you pretend and we can tell the difference between honesty and dishonesty.

abstaining is ethical. It is perfectly legal under gop rules so not sure why your getting hostile against a rpf member for asking you to follow rules.

We Mississippi Ron Paul supporters will undoubtedly meet before the State convention to discuss strategy.

If there is any ethical method I can use to support Ron Paul I will, but if I must give my word to actually vote for another candidate to represent the will of the People of Mississippi then I will follow through on my word.

If anyone actually suggests I should lie about my intentions or betray my given word then I would be strongly hesitant to ally myself with them for any reason because I would be unable to trust them.

All human interactions should be based on truth, honesty, and trust. If there is any confusion about where I stand on this just see my sig line.

Just letting ya'll know that Mississippi Congressional District One is organizing Ron Paul supporters who are delegates to discuss strategy and tactics at the District meeting Saturday morning, May 19th, in Jackson. Hopefully many of us will be able to meet this coming Saturday but apparently the Friday night before the actual Caucus is the 'traditional' time for delegates to meet and start the politicking.

I met with our District One coordinator and, while young, he seems to have a very good grasp of the situation here in Mississippi and is already in touch with some supporters of other candidates to talk about overall strategies affecting them as well as us. I won't reveal any details but most of them have been openly discussed here on RPF so you can guess at what tactics we are looking at to maximize the number of Ron Paul supporters which will be going to Tampa from the Magnolia State. It doesn't look like we will have the same level of success as our neighbors in Louisiana but I'm hopeful we will be getting our supporters as National delegates.

We are continuing to identify the delegates from my District and determining which are Ron Paul supporters, so that is good. Whatever our numbers we will be organized and have a plan.

I finished buying my clothes today, now I just need to get my two new shirts laundered and pressed and pick up my suit next week and I'll be ready wardrobe wise for whatever and whomever the Convention throws at me.

I've always been a decent public speaker and with my new suit I'll at least be taken seriously if I speak well because I'll look so damn good doing it.

Well, the suit will at least.

And yes, I promise to get a few pictures and post them here so ya'll will finally see WilliamC in all his glory. heh.
