Tancredo out!

Tancredo is a very bad guy, by any enlightened moral standard. He is racist who believes that all non-white people are at war against America, whether they speak Spanish or Arabic. He even advocates genocide ("war of civilizations").

Tancredos not a racist, if hes pro-assimilation then how can he be a racist?

I hope he endorses Ron Paul... we'll see tomorrow with that major announcement.

Maybe you ex-Tancredo folk who understand his positions can find a forum or somewhere to commiserate with those poor people who are losing their leader. Perhaps sometime while they are crying on your shoulder you can happen to slip in a plug for the good doctor. :D

I don't agree with him on much, and I think his Mecca statements were positively insane, but I don't think it's fair to call him a racist.

His foreign policy of bombing meccas and occupying the middle east is horrible, but I fully agree with his immigration plans.

This is Tancredo :

A fucking neo-con.

I can't say I agree with targeting their mosques, but we should retaliate if we are attacked again. Here's my point of view at it. Give Ron Paul and peace a chance. Get out of the Middle-East and make sure that it is publicly known to their goevernment and people that we want peace. If they attack us again, show no mercy. Drop a MOAB a nuke whatever. Completely obliterate the country that attacked us and turn it into glass and make it uninhabitable. That is the only way to show them that we are done with these games. It should be done in the same way that you punish your child. Put the fear of God in them, but let them know that this isn't what you want.

You don't fight terrorism by acting like terrorists. Period.

b-b-b-b-but.. thats madness! i think if theres on thing we can all agree on it is this: the only way to protect your freedom is by taking it away and making you pay for bombing other countries into this same freedom so they don't all come over here to bomb you because you are free

Ron Paul's sole motto : Live and let live.

Establishment's motto: Buy 2 (War & Fear) and get 1 free (Freedom)

paul once said he'd endorse tandredo, if he had to pick one of the current candidates. i hope tancredo returns the favor

Yes Ron Paul said he liked Tancredo and that he was friends with him, when asked which other reoublican he would support. So the other noobs on the forums dont know what theyre tlaking about.

I disagree. I was a huge Tancredo supporter before learning of Paul in April. He's the closest thing to Ron Paul in the race, outside of foreign policy of course.

That's the way I am too. The only thing that turns me off is the complete arrogance of so many on this forum who know nothing about Tom Tancredo and dismiss him as a "neocon". This just shows their complete ignorance. Tancredo is the quintessential paleoconservative in the way that Pat Buchanan has been. His book In Mortal Danger is a classic paleo book, right up there with Buchanan's State of Emergency.

While Tancredo may not agree with Buchanan or Paul on foreign policy, on everything else they're in line. Tancredo dismisses the "proposition nation" outlook of Bush and the neoconservatives, and has written and spoke about the dangers of multiculturalism and unchecked immigration.

Tancredo was talking about this stuff long before it was popular, and he was unafraid to stand up to Bush and co. Karl Rove even went so far as to tell him to "never darken the doorsteps of the whitehouse."

Tancredo belonged to Paul's Liberty Caucus and Paul to Tancredo's Immigration Reform Caucus. It is no surprise that the liberals who make up so much of Paul's base dismiss Tancredo with smartass one-liners, but for many of us who actually know something about the man, he is a brave patriot in the same way that Ron Paul is.

This is a good thing because he doesn't dilute the war vote much because he was polling so poorly. Which meant that he was just taking up talking time for Ron in the debates. We also want Hunter gone after Iowa hopefully so that there will only be 6 people on stage in the next debate. But we want all the big name candidates to stay in indefinitely so they can steal each other's votes. I also look forward to some of the democrats to drop out after the first few primaries for the same reason. The fewer people there are running for president the more seriously people will start noticing Ron. We just don't want any of the 5 major neocons to drop out because we need that vote splintered in 5 ways so we can win with just 20%.

In that one Wolf Blitzer interview a while back Ron Paul didn't say he could ever endorse Tancredo. When pressed, Ron said he had the most in common with Tancredo and that Tom is a member of Ron's Liberty Committee in the House. Tom is pretty good with domestic spending but he is a very scary dude when it comes to the politics of fear. Ron could never endorse his neocon foreign policy either.

Check out his creepy commercials:
