None of these are particularily true . By 1500s we were in middle more or less of a large confederacy of tribes w/ our tribe living among about 5 million acres. Before 1500 we did war among tribes later in saifd confederacy w/ but after mostly just warred w/ Algonquins or occasional urons. After revolution was over some of our clan left our lands and moved west into swampy woodlands of now S. Indiana and lived among some great warrior clans of Miami , Shawnee, Muncie ( also from East) , Wyandot (uron) ( also from N E ). S. Indiana off river was not real desirable at time to whites because before great quake kind of swampy and rest dense wooded. After great quake drainage suddenly better and Greenville treaty never held by whites so because we did not participate in Indian removal and saw direction were forced to buy some of own lands and stay. Some went into Wisc , and some west , A few miles up rd from me is a vast track of land once belonged to my family , state park now , I used to take my kids to swim in summer there when were young , gotta pay admission like everyone else, lol.
