Affirmative action mostly helps white women. And it's no redress for people still alive who had their land stolen from them! But I guess "liberty" means no justice? We paid reparations to fvcking Ford and GM after bombing their factories in WW 2 that were making vehicles for the Nazi war machine. And then Ford and GM turned around and paid reparations to Jews for slave labor. So America indirectly paid Jews for slavery and America directly paid Nazis for treason. Make that make sense. Ethnically cleanse black communities, give most of the help for the New Deal to white immigrants, then mostly help white women through affirmative action, then par reparations to freaking Nazi traitors, then if a black person dares to even mildly complain, dishonestly exaggerate what happened with affirmative action. :rolleyes:

At least 45 people were shot, six of them fatally, during the weekend in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago.

ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times reported the weekend’s first fatal shooting occurred “about 5:15 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Rhodes Avenue.” A man of unknown age was on the sidewalk when someone shot at him, striking him in the chest. The man died later in a hospital.

At roughly “9:45 p.m. in the 2900-block of Devon Avenue” a 31-year-old man was walking when someone approached him and opened fire. The 31-year-old was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Just before 3:40 a.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old woman was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle “in the 1300-block of West 72nd Street near Ada Street.” Her wound proved fatal.

A 36-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds was found in an alley “in the 700-block of 66th near Halsted Street” at 8:39 a.m. He was transported to a hospital, where he died.
