We REALLY could benefit from implementing something like this for the next moneybomb. If we allowed people to donate on Facebook, it would mean huge things for the moneybomb total.

Also, Cain is running a facebook ad campaign which links directly to the donation tab on his facebook page. This seems to be VERY effective. People don't need to navigate off-site to donate, and they will get an automatic moneybomb reminder via facebook ads (depending upon how you target the ads). I see the Cain ad every day.

Get on it :collins:

I hope you guys have someone who is able to program that. If not, you can hire a freelancer for peanuts.

If they did anything on Facebook above and beyond the normal posts then I'd be happy. Here we are about 2 months before elections and social media is still being ignored. It's truly sad to see our largest asset thrown away with poor strategy and implementation. We've been asking for a donation tab on Facebook since July. Yes, July and here we are asking for it again. Why do we have to beg for the campaign staff do their jobs? If they aren't in it to win it, then my suggestion is to clear out your office and give the job to someone who will do everything possible to expand the campaign's social reach before the elections!! We don't have time to tippy toe around this anymore. Get to work! That's why we're giving you millions of dollars!!!

I'm getting frustrated. I have working relationships with many brilliant programmers. If I hire one of them to build this module out of my own pocket, can I be assured that the campaign will implement it?

This is absurd. For all the cash that you guys are hauling in, you might think you'd fork over a few hundred bucks for someone to program this facebook module. The return on investment would be astronomical.

This is why we need a grassroots liaison who has real connections to the campaign.

They won't use anything created by the grassroots. You'd be hard pressed to even get a response. But what's even crazier is that this wouldn't even be much programming. Could have this done in a few hours. But this is what we get when the eCampaign is run by one person with no help.

This is why we need a grassroots liaison who has real connections to the campaign.

Would be nice...
