Superbowl RonPaul Ad (Grassroot Survey)

I want to see the "Transparency" in the grassroot efforts that are this large to be honest. Is there an itemized list of all the money raised for the blimp and other large efforts like this?

as in dollar 4 dollar?

there is no slots open i wouldnt think anyway......to late to fund it and get it aired anyway.....

Well, this graph http://www.ronpaulgraphs.com/blimp_pledge_v_actual_members.html shows that we raised like $270,000 in 11 days for the blimp. That's almost 25,000 per day. I think this super bowl ad idea is way way better than the blimp (I gave 250 to that--I kinda wish I had that 150 of that now, so I could give like 500 to this--as it is I'll probably be able to give 350).

I still think THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30yxHqSUva8 is THE ad for this. It's so down to earth and genuine.

super bowl ad

YES I would like to see a super bowl ad.
Yes I would help fund it.
I like this you tube 1 minute long.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_gKOCb4QBA
Reasons: This video reminds voters of his performance in past debates. Also reminds voters of our constitution and it actually shows him speaking and moving. Sounds silly but that makes him appear "human" i.e. more personable to the voters. The body language is good too and also needs to be seen by the voters. Body language says alot, believe it or not. Just look at Fred and Al Gore and you'll know what I mean. I realize the cost would be extra but would be worht it. However, a lenghty ad (1 min) we might get more bang if we were able to run it after the game for longer periods because cost would drop after the game. Just a thought, what does everyone think. Regardless I would like to see a ad where he is moving and speaking and reminding the voters of his issues and the constitution and how far we have strayed from it. I like the Reagan shot for the older voter.

hhmmm

I respectfully disagree, this ad is to specific to NH. They mention NH in the ad and reminds ppl that he came in 5th. secondly, these people have distinct accents (no big deal for me) but the super bowl is reaching around the world not the NE USA.

hit with a rick roll right of the bat and then say you've been rick rolled america, its time for some truth.

Edit: Even better run the whole Rick Roll in progressing 30 second spots during each break to get people thinking "what the hell is this all about" and then on the last one have it cut to you've been rick rolled america, its time for some truth.

They should use the remaining blimp money for this. Bring the blimp home. It's over.

If they choose a good commercial, I will fund it.

The blimp's second month of flight began on January 18th. The money we have doesn't even pay for the flight time through the debates tomorrow and the blimp still has to get back to its hangar in Elizabeth City, NC. So, there is no leftover blimp money.

We won't get negative press for grounding it. If you haven't noticed, we don't get press...period. In fact, negative press would be fine with me. We just need people to hear Ron Paul's name.

Ok, sorry to throw this thread up again. We do get press...here's what we got in GA and SC...that's missing the recent coverage on Russia Today and several local broadcasts we couldn't track down footage of online.

How much would this cost?

Each local market is priced differently. Some cities are $1,500, others are $22,000. We're calculating the cost per viewer and trying to get the best deals in the best selection of markets. That's the beauty of this...we can do it on a small scale, medium scale or large scale because all of the affiliate ads are bought on a local level. The fox owned fox stations in the big cities still let us pick and choose even though we have to go through one national office to reserve them.

So, we'll put no money down holds on a bunch of markets and see if we can come up with the money before the station receives a competing offer or the payment deadline. If we can, we pay for it and run the ad, if we can't we drop it and let someone else buy the time. This all has to happen quickly so the next 2 weeks should be completely insane for us.

We've been glued to the phones all day with Fox affiliate stations and I just got a full quote with availability and pricing for 8 very large cities..many still have availability and those that do not usually have ad time during the meet the candidates special or the pre-game.

If we were to do an ad based on a youtube vid, we need to get a hold of the creator of the vid so we have an uncompressed version and they can make little tweaks here and there.

I don't want one. WAY too much money. 2.7 mil? way too much. we're not Pepsi or GE.

we could do a whole week in FLA

I really like that pic of Ron in his old military uniform. I suggest trying to get that pic more exposure any way possible, because, let's face it, there are alot of 40+ women voters that would vote for man just because he is handsome. And I think Dr. Paul takes the cake, even over Romney by far.

It won't be $2.7 mil...these are individual commercial purchases in local markets where we'll target Super Tuesday states or others with nearby primaries.
