Superbowl RonPaul Ad (Grassroot Survey)

ummm...

I don't really like the first one...Why is he up in a cloud? Is he in heaven or something? Seems weird to me...But I guess everyone else likes it...

I think ethyl is right...It needs to have a punch line of some kind to make it Super Bowl worthy. Just my opinion.

A few points in favor of this one:

* It clearly conveys that Ron Paul stands out from other candidates of both parties and is worth listening to.
* It is cute and clever. People like cleverness. and cuteness. People talk about cute and clever super-bowl ads.
* It is different from most boring political ads, which many people tune out. Different things *stand out* in people's minds.
* It should appeal to younger viewers and help to create more BUZZ. And also females. My girlfriend, who is totally apolitical says that this is her favorite one.
* It uses Ron's own voice to enunciate his freedom and economic message.

And most importantly....

* It looks like NOTHING that HQ would ever create, so it must be great. j/k! :-)

The blimp has no money to be used. We're short money not in surplus. It would be nice to keep it airborne through super tuesday to avoid the neg press of grounding it..

We won't get negative press for grounding it. If you haven't noticed, we don't get press...period. In fact, negative press would be fine with me. We just need people to hear Ron Paul's name.

Ron Paul in a Budweiser commercial drinking a Budweiser!? Now THAT would be funny!

This is ridiculous - these would all make great commercials. HQ needs to run these. The money and time they would save by not making lesser ads would give them more for airtime too.

Another great ad!!!

Thanks!!:D

A superbowl ad would be great, but it would need to be very professional or very clever, or he will be thought of as a goofball. It would be the best bang for the dollar to get his message out to the country immediately prior to super tuesday.

I still wish there was an ad that conveyed what one could do with all the money that we are spending overseas. I think the numbers are so large that people cannot grasp them.

1) Do you want a RP ad during superbowl?
Absolutely--but following the plan of going local is probably better than national.
2) Will you support funding of this ad through http://www.ronpaulblimp.com/superbowl/ ? If not, how do you propose implementing this project?
I don't know yet, but I'm leaning towards Yes.
3) Which grassroot commercial would you nominate? Post a youtube link.

I absolutely believe that none of them are quite good enough yet. We need some incredible competition for the best ad in the next few days--it must be creative, professional, message oriented, include Ron Paul speaking (audio and video), and almost shocking.

Wow--I take back what I said. This one is awesome, and I don't think we should even discuss it anymore. This one cannot be beat. Incredible, powerful, slick, perfect even: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30yxHqSUva8

I mean, just look at the kind of comments this ad gets on youtube:

I was wondering why ron paul is not as popular as he should be in the USA. It's cause he has moron's doing the marketing.

So, vote for this ad for the Super Bowl--pronto.
