Ohio voters being denied ballot of choice? OPEN primary people.

Can't hurt, right?

There's a big rumor here in TN that I am going to be voting for Paul today and bringing a couple of friends with me too.

What rumor have you heard? What I know is that Santorum is projected to win, but he doesn't have any delegates and the RNC are going to try to just "give" him some anyway. Slime.

stupid question here, but what do you do? We've been talking about going outside our polling place but there was 3 people there. We'd get more bang for our buck by standing at busy intersetion. The hard part is they moved our polling place. (without really telling anyone) So do we campaign outside the new place and see who all shows up? Do we stand out by the new road so the other candidates people can find the place? Keep in mind it should be a busy place realitve to other years, but it was hard to find since the move. Took me an hr and I knew they moved it

If just one person, I'd be by the polling place. Find the legal limit and a place between parking and the door(s). Be relaxed and cheerful; greet the voters, ask if they've fully made up their minds yet; display lit in your hand for them and gently "lift it" in offer; SMILE!

If a few of you, above + people out by the new road, with RP signs and at least one that says, VOTE NOW.

I fully believe that it was poll sitting in NC that put Gunny over the top, and plenty of people are walking in still undecided...

and THANKS!

EDIT - adding, and if you are not greeting voters, you can be on the phone cajoling friends/family/neighbors/etc...

Phoning From Home

I just got done with class down here in Austin, TX and wanted to make some final push efforts to call via the campaign's Phone From Home project...it is connecting me with Idaho residents, but I am wondering whether there is still time for them to go to their precincts and vote/caucus. Any info on whether that is still going on?

Yes, there is! Caucus doesn't start in Idaho until this evening (5PM PST).

So what are the chances we win any of the contests tonight? Just looking at the states, I would think Ron should do fairly well tonight but I sure would love to bust out the cigar I been saving for our first win.

Just got back from voting in Massachusetts. Turnout seemed rather low. Had 3 family members with me, we all voted for Paul!
:)
