AFTER rules adoption and vote for the nominee, I am sure. Do they think our people who appeared six hours early to their state conventions are slackers who will stay in with a hangover after Ron's party?

The convention will officially convene on Monday, but then immediately go into recess until Tuesday, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said Saturday

All scheduled speeches, including the roll call vote to officially nominate Mitt Romney as the Republican’s nominee will now take plan on Tuesday, the second scheduled day of the convention, organizers said.

So lets say that many delegates decide not to even attend this opening and we have the majority..... can we stop them from recessing? call for business? Nominate?

Hope that doesn't impact Ron's rally.

It isn't supposed to make landfall in Florida except maybe Key Largo (an island). There will be rain, doubtless. But it will be after Ron's rally, late Sunday or Monday, even to reach southern Florida.

The loss of the Monday session — where the roll of states was to be called to nominate Mitt Romney as the GOP candidate for president — comes on a day the three major networks were not planning on televising the proceedings. The roll call now will take place Tuesday.
