Stop the almost doubling of the New Hampshire gas tax!

Great news! The NH Senate voted on the gas tax increase today. The vote was 18-6 (by 2/3s) to indefinitely postpone gas tax increase. I'm not familiar with the technical term indefinitely postpone as used by the NH legislature but this might even take it off the table for budget negotiations so the issue, or at least an increase of this size, might be dead in NH for 2 years. I'll update this post with news articles once they come out. But for now, it looks like we may have stopped this in a big way. Perhaps even so much so that it won't be brought up again for some time to come. We shall see.

Update 1: The move to indefinitely postpone the gas tax bill was made by Ron Paul endorsed Sen. Andy Sanborn. Great work Andy! There is the Tweet about it by a Union Leaders newspaper reporter.
