This comedy bit was so much so "tongue in cheek" that my wife at first thought he was making fun of Ron Paul. For some people, it may take a while before the meaning sinks in; my hope is that it will wake up some McCain and Romney supporters.

I think this is worth being "bumped" today since it may go "viral" and help the Ron Paul campaign.

Note: the link may not work every time; if it doesn't seem to load, just try the link again. Or you could try one of these YouTube links http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoXOBtDv0gk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKsC_0fMjr0

I think ppl who watch the show have figured out that when Colbert defends something its bad for the country and when he attacks it its good for the country.

At least thats how I interpret the show lol.

How does it look bad at all? Its obvious he is agreeing with RP with sarcasm,

I laughed really hard. It's so obvious he was agreeing with Dr. Paul. That was amazing.

isn't it kind of bad that the ultra-liberal colbert agrees with ron? That's not something that will win over repubs... Funny though

can someone detail what happened for those of us without television?

Or better yet... Youtube?

I know conservatives that like Colbert. Just because you are conservative doesn't mean you lost your sense of humor, or can't realize when other republicans are just talking nonsense.

Yeah it's not like it's Michael Moore or something

BiLL!

Yo! When Napolitano called Colbert "Bill", I literally lost it! I haven't laughed so hard this decade!

"What's that really classic one we've got? "The earth goes around the sun.""

This refers to Galileo, the great mathematician, physicist, and philosopher who was forced to recant his belief that the earth moved around the sun in 1633. The Church insisted that the earth did not move and was the center of the universe.

Colbert is paying Ron Paul the highest of compliments--a place among the great truth tellers of history.

1633, The world is round and the earth revolves around the sun. Satiricly (if thats a correct form of the word satire) Colbert has hit forth the point RP tells the truth.
