Stephen Colbert bit on Ron Paul 1-31-08

This comedy bit was so much so "tongue in cheek" that my wife at first thought he was making fun of Ron Paul. For some people, it may take a while before the meaning sinks in; my hope is that it will wake up some McCain and Romney supporters.

I think this is worth being "bumped" today since it may go "viral" and help the Ron Paul campaign.

I think ppl who watch the show have figured out that when Colbert defends something its bad for the country and when he attacks it its good for the country.

At least thats how I interpret the show lol.

I know conservatives that like Colbert. Just because you are conservative doesn't mean you lost your sense of humor, or can't realize when other republicans are just talking nonsense.

This refers to Galileo, the great mathematician, physicist, and philosopher who was forced to recant his belief that the earth moved around the sun in 1633. The Church insisted that the earth did not move and was the center of the universe.
