Stefan Molyneux : Just put out a Ron Paul video. Your thoughts. Pretty compelling, imho.

The race card is going to blow up in the face of Gingrich & Huntsman. Gingrich especially because he's made obviously racially bigoted statements.

Until the corporate media propaganda machine has free rein over what BS people get exposed to on a daily basis the truth is irrelevant. You'd think that after having word war 2 almost exclusively enabled by the German nazi propaganda machine people would have learnt their lesson and did something about it.

But I guess learning from history is a bit too much to ask.

Stefan Molyneux is a great guy. He has some decent following among liberals and not only.

I generally don't like this guy.

"People who support drug prohibition are racist. Historically. And statistically."
.....Just stop. I understand the hyperbole or the turn-about there, but it's still an absurd thing to say.

Glad to see a positive Ron Paul video from Stefan. He's pretty much against trying to use politics to limit government and is an anarchist (as am I).

This kind of always turned me off from him compared to people like Tom Woods. Stefan always seemed anti-Paul to me.
But I've gained some more affection towards him because of this video.

Good video.

No, it isn't. First off, as you yourself recognize, it is hyperbole for effect. Remember, people criticizing the welfare state routinely get called racist... even though, as Molyneux points out, it is the welfare state itself which is racist.

Likewise, drug prohibition is unfairly prosecuted, and creates an incredibly racist cycle of destruction which only further splinters everything as families are split apart for non-violent drug crimes like possession. This is a cycle; as each money earner goes to prison, it often forces the family to turn to either welfare, crime, or both.

So we have people preaching family values, while the policies they demand splinter minority families. They decry the welfare state, when a racist justice system that ripped families apart forces mothers onto welfare. They decry crime, when in this family, it's often more feasible for a son to turn to crime than get a job, given the social environment.

Who are the racists? If you are for enslavement, are you racist? Then what if you support a system that you know imprisons more blacks than whites for something like marijuana possession, even if more whites than blacks smoke marijuana?

At some point we need to recognize this. Stand up for liberty.

Great video! Stefan Molyneux has such a great narrating voice, and all his videoes have a great message!

Awesome video!!! I have forwarded it to the TV station that I talked about in my "I AM Canadian" thread. More homework for them! LOL. Still awaiting their reply and apology.

Stefan has a history of telling his viewers not to support Ron.
No, he supports Ron's ideas and has given him plenty of compliments-he just generally dislikes voting. It's an issue anarchists and libertarians are divided over.

Stefan and his supporters are mainly anti-political action because they believe government, no matter how 'limited' will always be corrupted. They have good reason for it too...

If we can't get their (dont know how many) vote, at least we their sympathy...I'll take that.

Stefan,

Would it be worthwhile to vote for Ron Paul if statist machinations could be significantly rolled back? The ideas might become popular. Then snowball in the future.

Because it's in his rational self-interest. Same reason Rothbard defended some politicians/political action.

I thought someone claimed earlier in this thread that Stefan has advised not supporting Ron Paul. Was curious about his reason for the video in light of that. Don't get me wrong..I'm all for the video and think it's terrific.

that would be a good question to pose at the freedomainradio forums.
