Starting A News Organization:

Credible news that shows where it's research is coming from that doesn't directly report to support a single cause, which is open minded, has an organized and user friendly layout, that supplies up to the hour news.. Must I go on any further?

and this doesn't currently exist?

No?

Really... I hate how negative the majority of Ron Paul supporters are. I'm trying to start something here to put my two cents in to help continue this movement, and I get negative b.s. I just love it.

Both only get one perspective; the conspiracy perspective, always thinking that 'everything's a conspiracy.' What I have in mind is different.

Again, it's very directional. It's mainly politics. What I have in mind will cover everything something like CNN covers and more, but better, more credible, and without the 'spin.'

Just the mere fact that your claiming it isn't conspiratorial will instantly make people think that it is conspiracy-theory craziness. A video featuring Frank Luntz was posted frequently about a month ago, he talked about framing. It would apply here.

I encourage your efforts to start a news organization. No reason not to. But I'd highly reccommend changing the concept of the site, from a "can you handle it" angle to a "here it is and enjoy it" angle.

That was the previous website I was working on... If anyone would like it, you can take the project on yourself.

I've kinda started a small website after Nate895 proposed the idea for a Liberty News Network a while back.

I really don't have much on it, but if you really want to start an organization of websites, I'd be glad to help. I'll also volunteer my services to writing articles.

Again, if this is even going to get off the ground, we're going to need a domain :/ Until then, I don't know.

This isn't a Ron Paul website. This is a news organization. Big difference. Something to carry on the movement. Anywho...

If anyone is willing to help me write a few articles, please. Find anything interesting, make sure it isn't biased and gets both points of view, make sure it's backed up by facts, etcetera. Email it to [email protected]

I really need all the help I can get.

Quite honestly, I find FreeWebs quite reliable, to be honest. Out of the few months that I have been using them, I haven't had any downtime. I'm just going to need to get some donations to keep it up and running. Eight dollars a month.

Freewebs is reliable because it relies on it's name and uneducated people. Freewebs is a total ripoff. Shop around, you can find web hosting as cheap as a couple dollars a month. I got my web hosting for $2/yr and I only had a problem once when their power went out. :p

It really pains me to see people buy from Freewebs, Godaddy or Dreamhost... They really don't know what they're doing.

"The National Boycott Movement" would be a good title.

Other ideas is not quite what I need now :P What I need is a blasted domain... And I think I might have just found a way to get one :D

Bruce Lee was the greatest fighter of all time because he learned a type of Kung Fu that was normally taught to women. This type of martial arts was very economical because Masters of it did not teach their students how to defend or attack with it; but, the masters taught the students how to both attack and defend in the same motion. This is the best and most economical solution.
What we need today on the internet isn't something that reinvents news entertainment. As Ron Paul supporters, we need something that is just the opposite in that it argues boycotting in a manner that is both intelligent and to the point. No motion should be wasted in that we can't afford such luxury.
In order to reestablish the 2 party system in the United States, the national media needs to be attacked. We need a website that coordinates national boycotts by Ron Paul supporters and affiliate patriots of certain media outlets. We need to also boycott the products made by companies who advertise and support that media.
The best way to do this is to narrow down information in the webcite to that of the focus of what is being boycotted. Start off boycotting just one paper with just ten of the major products advertised in that paper. This would require only 11 columns in the webcite explaining intelligently why that 1 media outlet and the 10 products it is advertizing are being boycotted. Nothing more!
For example, let us say a decision is made to attack The Dallas Morning News for its failure to address locally in the DFW area why Ron Paul was/is being ignored by the national media. It would be smart to attack this paper because its readership represents a conservative part of the country with a lot of people who practice Christian values.
The tactic here would be to convince the paper to do what is in its best interest. The hope would be that the paper would affiliate itself more with the internet media while weaning itself from a biased national network that has been wagging the local paper as a tail for some time now.
The important point to this idea is to not get carried away with endless and biased political information. The webcite shouldn't even push Ron Paul but work in concert with his political movement. It should maintain its integrity by writing columns strictly about just 11 aspects -- the 1 media establishment being boycotted along with 10 major products it advertises. No motion should be wasted!

Isn't that what the Ron Paul forums are for? :/

If anyone has any articles that they could write for this website, please. Email them to me at [email protected]. Please. I need all the help I can get to get this thing off the ground.

No. The Ron Paul Forum has too many issues

This forum is working fabulously in that people are responding to it. If in the future people start narrowing down their focus to where they concentrate more on just the 1 important issue at hand -- the network of media bias on the national level that engineered the ignoring of Ron Paul -- then this cite could make a political impact in attracting new Ron Paul supporters from both the liberal and conservative ends of the political spectrum. The need for an unbiased media transcends our liberal and conservative differences to strike a prerequisite chord with all Americans in pursuit of life, liberty and happiness -- the civil purpose that our forefathers designed into the U.S. Constitution.
What is indeed troublesome about this forum is that it seems to be creating more issues than people can possibly respond to. This is kind of ironic in that we as Ron Paul supporters should not be taking a lot of these issues seriously on the national level. I mean, right now is really an easy time for us because there really is only 1 issue of importance at this time. That would be the national network of media bias that is sleeping with both of our political parties on the national level.
Metaphorically speaking, this amounts to a dirty whore, the media, sleeping with 2 filthy men, the Democratic and Republican parties. My allegory here is both hidious and pornographic because the relationship between these 3 entities are endangering the sanctity of our U.S. Constitution.

Well, I believe that's an issue for someone else, then. I don't nearly have enough coding experience to build such an accommodating website :/ This is my main focus as of now.

EDIT: Again, if anyone can just take five minutes to find an interesting news topic, perhaps an unconstitutional bill that was passed, and email it to me at [email protected] for this website, I would be grateful. Need all the help I can get.
