[TD="class: _51m- vTop _51mw"]Dear friends of liberty: How many supporters can we get to donate $5 (or more) on November 5th? My campaign relies on grassroots supporters like you to assist me in getting out information to voters to cast their ballot for maximizing freedom and restraining government.

Please contribute at www.StacyForTexas.com on the fifth! For liberty!

GUN RIGHTS

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” – Bill of Rights
“I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials.” – George Mason
The Bill of Rights is a list of natural rights that protect the basic principles of human liberty. These rights are not granted to us because of government; rather we created government entities to protect our rights. The highly debated Second Amendment draws concern from citizens on all sides of the issue with some fixating on the wording “a well-regulated militia” and others on “shall not be infringed.” Before the US military became as big and powerful as it is today, the militia was composed of citizens who were ready to step up and defend our country; thus, we the people are the militia, and our right to bear arms shall not be infringed.

FB page shows they're out canvassing which is a good sign. Here's the incumbent: http://www.texastribune.org/directory/van-taylor/. Looks to be a solid GOP district and I'm going to assume she's running to primary this guy. Adding an Asian woman to our farm team would be helpful plus overall it appears that she's a great candidate. Signed up for the moneybomb.

Looks like Van Taylor is running for the state senate seat. I guess this would mean that the seat Stacy is running for is an open one. Her website is coming online in a couple of days, but from I am impressed so far from what her facebook page says. This type of race seems right up Liberty for All PAC. Anyone else want to help suggest?

Van Taylor, who is a stout fiscal conservative, is running for the State Senate to replace Ken Paxton (another stout fiscal conservative), who is running for Attorney General. Stacy has two opponents so far:

-Wayne Richard (http://standwithwayne.com/) appears (maybe?) to be the frontrunner ... he seems to be a decent candidate on state-level issues, and is vehemently opposed to Agenda 21 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fepGn8QGDPo)

-Glenn Callison, whom I know nothing about

Stacy Chen Liberty Candidate

Stacy Chen was a Ron Paul Alternate Delegate to the Tampa Bay Republican National Convention. She worked and collected signature to get Ron Paul to come and speak at the University of Texas at Dallas Campus, which was moved to Fort Worth and was attended by over 3000 people. Her Website opens at midnight tonight. She is very much a Liberty Candidate who needs the help and support of other like minded individuals. We are looking to be a competitor in this race. Our goal is to revingorate the youth in Collin County and reach out to minority voters who are basically under represented at the state level.

- The other is Matt Sheeheen an establishment Republican.

- Wayne Richard is decent on the issues but not completely liberty minded. Lost the last election to Van Taylor.

-Glen is a new comer to the race. I have no Idea who he is.

Are her odds good against the other candidates? Not sure who they are or where they stand as far as backing.

The odds are as great as her support from like minded individuals. I am not going to lie. We have a huge hill to climb. We are working hard to get out the message. We are knocking on hundreds of doors a week and camping libraries to get signatures for a filing petition. The More we collect the more we can do to put out the message of liberty to Texas House District 66. We need your contributions too. :)

Been there and done that when Bentivolio was running for Congress last year and that was just in the primary. The general probably took even more time but in the end it pays off when your time is met with victory. Hopefully, your candidate turns out as a solid libertarian as mine has come up short repeatedly.

Stacy is a solid libertarian Republican. Although I think we use the phrase "Liberty Conservative" :).
