"Special" members, in memory of George :(

I have no other word to label them as, except maybe "Forum Character." These are the people on here who, like Yongrel and Ghemminger, add a lot of spice to the normality with their unique style of writing and topics. If you can't take it, suck it up or leave, since people like this help make the forum enjoyable for the rest of us. None of those on here have done anything to hurt the campaign, or hurt any one of us, and it is saddening to see them abused for their posts.
I think George was wrongfully banned, and hope it doesn't happen to anymore of our Special members.

Am also adding some memorable posts (that I could find quickly) feel free to add some:

I didn't have an issue w/George. I was irked today by all the threads starting in Grassroots, especially the repeat thread of calling Dr. Paul but oh well.

There is another thread here- on the March in Washington board I think- which sheds more light on George. I found the info startling, and if true, then the banning was deserved. I hate saying it. I always thought he was just mentally ill and people should ignore him and cut him some slack but now I'm not so sure. It's quite possible he was a troll playing us like fiddles.

Anyway, I don't think the mods are ban happy. Hell- did you see the blowback thread? Def troll but it is kind of funny to read. And there are other known trolls among us so I don't think George was banned willy nilly.

You are incredibly wrong. He's never threatened to harass RP or anyone else. He's never posted anyone's personal information. He's never gone on tears where he yells "I ownz theze threds!"

I don't like it that Ghemminger was banned, but he brought it on and he was asking for it desperately.

Luke, there's a huge difference between being sarcastic and snarky (and sometimes very thoughtful) like Yongrel, and being intentionally destructive, like Ghemminger. There's absolutely no comparison.

Well now I'm torn. I'd just as soon ignore the guy then. If that post isn't real then I don't know about banning him. He's crazy as hell but ignore works.
