Spamming Debunked

I posted here because on the Wired article there were several comments with links to the Youtube video that "proved" the author was paid to write the article.

It was mentioned in this thread.

It seemed fishy to me.

I didn't want fellow Ron Paul supporters to look like asses by jumping on this bandwagon of "OMG, Rudy's campaign PAID her to write that article in Wired.", without some sufficient evidence of that.

That's why I posted what I did, which should be obvious. No, it's not directly related to the spam accusations or figuring what is or is not going on with that. It is, however, related because of the intent to avoid supporters following potentially damaging "rabbit trails."

I wasn't targeting you. That article was more misdirection.
It maybe that this is an attack by outsiders, and it may be a supporter doing something stupid.
There were those that were blaming supporters and getting all self righteous. As yet the spammer is unknown. The misdirection and speculation do not help in tracking.
I get angered at accusations being thrown around.
If I am hunting I hate to follow a false trail.
