Southern accents

One guy in the focus group referred to South Carolina in third person by saying in S.C. "they" instead of the expected "we".

I frequent Charleston, those people looked and sounded like they were from anywhere but Charleston.

Yes, I noticed it immediately.

And also was that guy that was revealed as a plant, the same guy that was in the back of the group last night? Or was that a different plant.?

It was easy to determine the group was bogus when right on cue they answered exactly as they were probably paid to do.

Although I don't doubt that Faux and the FOcus Group is BS, I live in NC and many people here are from the north, so I don't encounter as many southern accents as one would expect.

Does anyone have a clip of that? I saw it but I was thinking WTF so much I didn't even think to listen for an accent.

I lived in Texas for a while and met many people that didn't have a "Southern accent." I thought if was weird, but it is just how it is.
Ilive in PA. btw...

The people watching SC who saw Frank and those people probably had the exact same thought. ;) A southerner can spot a southerner.
