South Carolina Election Returns - 19:00ET (1/21/12) - Official Thread

Going by the exit poll data in various sections, south carolina is overwhelmingly breaking for Newt. Ultimate face palm. If the republicans want to abandon their values, then so be it.

From what I can tell, most of the counties don't even have 1 precinct reporting yet.

My guess is we'll overteake Santorum before the nights end.

I still think they erred greatly in thinking the electorate actually cares about the issues. The electorate clearly only cares about beating Obama. There should have been commercials highlighting Ron Paul's electability.

I would agree but if they cared about beating Obama, why did they vote for a guy who can't beat him?? They just like the fact that Newtie is as slick as a used car salesman.

It's obvious this was all manufactured for Newt to win SC. Let's break down the bs, shall we?

1. Newt is an illuminist operative, with connections to every top tier insider and influential globalist out there, and is as vile as they get and pretty much groomed at birth by all the Rockefeller, Strauss, Kristol and Brzezinski agents out there.

2. Newt says: 'I will be the Nominee.'
3. Newt does poorly in IA and NH
4. Newt says 'every president since 1980 has won SC' and also alluded to the fact he would be 'done' with a bad SC showing and most likely drop out. This can't happen, because then it would come down to Mitt and Paul (Santorum isn't tied to the globalist elite and doesn't the have the money, nor the influence of the elites that Newt does, where he can be funded from the faceless puppeteers in that smoke filled, dimly lit room, somewhere in Europe that 'doesn't really exist' yet DOES exist.)

5. The Establishment knows what Newt said about 'being the nominee', and since he is the ultimate establishment piece of shit that there is, well, who best for them to rally behind and also give them the anti-Romney they need? The fix is now in for the msm to pump Newt and manipulate the dumbasses to vote for him.

6. Newt is contacted by 'someone very important' and is told that CNN will 'give him protection from his Ex's potentially damaging story' (most likely done by the left) by throwing him a question about the situation, so he can respond to it as he sees fit. thereby gaining traction and pity from the dumbass sheep in SC. If any of you here think that was spontaneous and was not planned and staged, you really need to wake up, because that had to be the most ridiculous and well timed staging/planning i've ever seen in politics in my life. They had to do something to allow Newt to get the first word before his ex could speak about it, and give him a way of defending himself. It was forced right off the top in every way imaginable, and if anything, Newt should have been given an Oscar for that performance, since it obviously allowed him to win the fucking primary just now.

And there you have it. Yet another lame ass manufactured GOP/MSM Primary win for the establishment pick, no different than Santorum in IA.

Sad stuff. The fact this shit could be predicted this easily, just shows that they don't even care about hiding it. It's like going to a convenience store and as you are paying, you take a candy bar or something else on the counter, right in front of the clerk and with other customers inches behind you and able to see your every move.

Unfuckingbelievable.

On a positive note, we're on track to get about 80 thousand votes, which is 10,000 more than Romney got in 2008, and 64,000 more than we got in 2008.

Think about it, 80 THOUSAND people pulled the lever for Ron Paul, that is an encouraging thought. That takes the total in 3 states up to 163,000. That has to give us some hope.

I'm about to knock Ari Fleischer the fuck out. He just said Ron Paul's campaign is over and Iowa was his high water mark. HE DID BETTER IN NEW HAMPSHIRE YOU FUCKING PRICK.

This is exactly why I'm not watching cable news right now. Spare yourself the aggravation!

Is it possible to pull out a third place finish when all is reported. County that might be very high ron paul voters

They just showed a poll that said 51% of voters thought Grinch has the best shot to beat Obama. lmao

I really find it "interesting" that Dr Paul kicked such A$$ in Abbeville........ and no others? That quacks like a duck for me.

Nah, the night is over with 80% reporting. Ron got 4th, but 13.5% in SC is still better than he got in most states in 2008. Even "Live Free Or Die" NH.

Were we around 13 or 14% in ANY polls? If not, how do we account for the difference? Especially on a rainy day with low turnout?

Is anyone else listening to the Grinch? Ugh! How could people vote for this guy???????? I can't comprehend it at all.

Sheer hatred for their President, combined with, "GEE, WILLIKERS, MAW!!! I'd pay MONEY to see Newt debate Obama!!"

what's so funny about that? Why shouldn't they think that? I don't see anyone other than Doug Wead during the few times he's been interviewed playing up Ron's numbers against Obama.
