South Carolina Election Returns - 19:00ET (1/21/12) - Official Thread

I'm watching CNN so I can call out their garbage! I've got the RevPAC broadcast up too!!

thanks, Wgadget and Dr.3D. Now if I can just figure how how to double screen so I can keep up with this thread and watch the stream. ;)

One big difference this time is that there are elected representatives in S.C. endorsing Paul. His is not "fringe" to them like he was in 2008.

You newbies don't remember the Rick Beltram stuff. Google for it.

Is somone recording revpac? I have to leave for an election party and I wanna see how they do

When is 19:00? That number isn't even on any of my clocks.

Are you kidding me? Here in Sweden we're having problems understanding "AM" and "PM". 19:00 is like ordinary to us. But i guess we Europeans are a little bit different - when it comes to metrics (Meter), temperature (Celsius - swedish invention btw) and time.

I'm pretty sure that we will beat Santorum, I'm kinda hoping that liberal protest voters that are fans of Colbert will make Cain beat out Santorum also.

Carl Cameron said "Paul campaign expects to come in 4th"

That's odd. Going by the exit polls, there are way more independents than expected and more men, not to mention that the weather should favour us.

What reason is there to think Santorum will beat us?

CNN is talking about the weather a lot - they could be angling to setup a big night for RP that they can 'discredit' with the weather.

Of course the campaign is saying they expect 4th. Get 4th, meet expectations. Get 3rd, spin as victory. Win-win.

Anyone know how accurate the internal polling of the RP campaign is? They are thinking 4th. Curious what their history is in determining their previous "internal polling" vs. actual outcome.
