South Carolina Election Returns - 19:00ET (1/21/12) - Official Thread

This campaign isn't bout winning it's about spreading the message. The MSM is too powerful, guys. I went through this during Iowa, when I realized what's really going down. We CAN'T beat the MSM, it's impossible. However, we CAN keep spreading a message. That's what it's all about folks. Don't get dismayed.

Big story will be Romney losing big time. Us not doing so hot will be a minor story. Let's put South Carolina behind us, keep your heads high.

EXACTLY!!! The GOP hierarchy will ramp up the "circular firing squads" after seeing their pathetic plans laid to waste.

How is it that the southern states don't go for the guy who is the biggest "states rights" supporter?

We don't do a good job of clearly demonstrating our views. He needs to work with speech writers, expert debaters and even have a comedian to come up with good ways to clearly connect to the people. I love him for being himself but most turn off when he starts to ramble and then cheer wildly when Newt says "Kill Them." amazing

If we come in fourth I AM DONE. You young people have the following in SC.

USC in Richland County. Enrollment 30,000 2008 total gop primary vote Richland county 30K

Clemson University Pickens county enrollment 15,000 total 2008 Pickens county vote 17K

Coastal Carolina University. Enrollment 5,000 Horry county. total Horry county vote in 2008 25K

College of Charleston 11,000 enrollment total Charleston county vote 2008 35K

Approx numbers but shows if we can get students out to vote they alone can carry these vote heavy counties.

BUY PIZZAS!!!

You can not or the campaign can not organixze these students? What kind of wimps are you all? Or is it just that SC college students are frickin idiots?

Well good fuxxing luck to all of you stupid lazy pieces of shxt young people in SC. You will deserve exactly what you get in the future. No future frankly. And seniors you can kiss it goodbye too. And boomers like me those of you that stay in USA good luck.

Yoo will be lucky to flip burgers.

Its done stick a fork in it.

They are idiots, I am sure polls will show Paul lost the young votes as well... South Carolina just not good for Paul...

Welcome to 2012. This time around it is about winning. I'm as much of a realist as anyone -- I recognize this is a significant uphill battle, but there is still a sliver of hope. We can not afford to give up, it's too important.

You could've volunteered and implement all the wonderful ideas you just mentioned.

M. Bachmann 0.2% 25

It kind of boggles my mind that they can call an election with 1% of the votes in...

Breaking news:8 trucks from eight Iowa precincts have been spotted driving to South Carolina. Rumor is that drivers reported rats in cargo who eaten all Ron Paul votes. Rats have been ste free unharmed and it was decided that votes that left are going to be added to South Carolina votes.

Well if we do see Hermain Cain rising from half a percent as the night wears on, then we know there really was a "Colbert Effect".
