Something's Happening Here SHH! moneybomb March 18, 2012

Ron Paul isn't gonna last too long on the funds raised from No One But Paul moneybomb, considering it's Super Tuesday we're approaching.

Did anyone else notice that Ron Paul has been totally absent from the trail until the moneybomb, and as soon as the money poured in he got right back on the trail and started holding major events? To me, this is very telling that the campaign finances have run dry.

So the next moneybomb needs to be planned for as soon as possible, hopefully beginning of March.

I noticed and I also STILL notice that he has zero ads running.

You have to think strategically. The money Paul's campaign is getting has to come at the right moment. The NOBP money is going to have to be enough for Super Tuesday. By limiting themselves to working the caucuses it could even be enough to rack up several wins given our margins in the caucuses four years ago for these states. If we can make ourselves legitimate competitors as a result, it may allow for a string of victories without too much money in the rest of March where caucuses will rule the day. Our focus should be on the April 3rd and April 24th primaries. An April 1st bomb is not going to help with April 3rd, while March 2nd is way too soon for us to effectively prepare. March 18th lines up well for April 3rd, and leaves room for another moneybomb to add a cushion for April 24th.

If Ron doesn't get a win before then, money will likely not be enough at that point, imho. He needs money to effectively contest these states he has a very good shot at.

I presume the campaign is savvy enough to understand that they need to focus their money on the states they have a good chance of winning, rather than trying to win states they know are not likely to go for him. Should Paul not be able to get a single win out of Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and North Dakota then the delegate strategy in hopes of a brokered convention is pretty much the best chance we will get to win the nomination and not a lot of money is needed for that. However, after Super Tuesday it is just a string of caucuses so a win in one or all of those states could push us into a streak of wins that can keep money flowing until a moneybomb. Our focus should be on getting money to seriously contest the big primaries. April 3rd and on are the really big ones.

I think only Ron Paul Forum regulars, with money pouring out of their pockets, will donate to this. It might generate 500,000 to a million if we're really lucky...

We need to figure out a way to promote month-long, or even week-long money drives. These money bombs are duds now.

Even though NOBP was not a very good concept it still managed to get $2 million. The Tea Party moneybomb managed $3 million. I think if we all get behind a concept and push it hard like, starting now, we can get a lot more money rolling in on this. Particularly, with this concept we can focus on issues that are of serious interest in the online community that will appeal to a wide assortment of groups. Something like this could definitely go viral if we do it right. Really, someone out to get to work on it right now. I would help in any way I can.
