So I was talking to an Obamabot today. I basically let them do all the talking and I think they are starting to understand the evils of socialism.

He basically said "Why should my elderly mother who is making her payments subsidize someone whos not" I said "because that is socialism"


The sad fact is that most Americans voted for Obama to GET something not HELP someone.

The elderly should get used to aging and the proglems it causes and accept not receiving some treatments, as they have already lived a long life. There may be some medications and treatments that would not be appropriate for someone over 70, because they might not live long enough to have it be worth the cost for the taxpayers caring for them.

At least, that is what the Obama (Daschle) plan would have you believe, from my understanding.

Plus, we all know that if you're libertarian, you don't enjoy life as much, wheras Obama supporters can have a great quality of life even when they're quite old, sometimes long after they require assistance for everyday activities, like voting.
