So you're thinking about voting for Trump in 2024?

Never thought about voting for Trump. Indiana is a deep red state that's only gone blue twice. I have no reason to believe that Indiana will go blue in 2024.

What I know is that the Trump presidency and all that has come with it, has had more real world results than both Ron Paul campaigns combined.

Not a chance.

Trump built what he did on the foundation we laid. I don't give the builder of the foundation less credit than those who built what shows, because without the foundation the rest could never have been built. Hell, hijacking our momentum was the whole point of the whole exercise, and he'd never have gotten anywhere with his brainless anti-establishment rhetoric if we hadn't been doing such a good job of spreading very intelligent anti-establishment rhetoric. And as much as I love reading the local trolls as they insist that Trump could only have been treated the way he was if he was truly anti-establishment, the fact is he was hired to make us look like a bunch of malcontents with third grade vocabularies, and could have been "fired" just to make us look ineffective.

When there's a movement they can't control, like the GOP, or usurp, like the Tea Party and the LP, they steal its thunder with an approved substitute. It's what they do.

Give us some credit.

Are we going to have one of these threads every week until 2024
Because if this is what we've become

Maybe it's best just to hang it up

Bottom Line - YES we have to vote for Trump if there is no viable alternative to the Democrats.

It is called REALITY.

Here's some reality for you: This nation contains about fifty million people who could do better than Trump did. Our job is to make one of them viable.

Go hang yourself up.

I do give us credit. I see the 2016 election of Trump as an extension of the R3VOLUTION. At the same time, if Jeb! had been elected things would be much the same as if Hiallry had been elected. We have to give Trump and his voters credit as well.

Being supremely hated by the left was probably his best quality, as it kept the passage of bills to a minimum.

Why? What would have changed? The Wicked Witch of the West would have doubled Obama's deficit instead of going to jail? That's not a change. Seems to me Trump got away with more deficit spending and more corporate welfare than Obama or Clinton could have done, just like Reagan got away with more than Jimmy Carter could have done. I can't prove that supposition. But I'd like to see you try to prove yours.

Everyone points to Biden and tells me Hillary would have been as bad. Maybe. But she'd have had to build the foundation for this sabotage and medical murder that Trump laid down, and I doubt she has the charisma to get that much trust--even from the left. She's also tough and not senile, so there's no guarantee she'd have been compliant as her administration made her approval ratings plunge to historic lows.

You're employing conventional wisdom. Look around you. That shit don't apply to politics no more.

Minor caveat being they probably wouldn't have released the virus if Hillary was president. We'd be too caught up in a ground war in eastern Europe to keep the masses fearful.

I get why people like Trump. I understand his appeal

He's like a bull[1] in a china shop - a shop that deserves to be wrecked because it's owned and operated by psychopaths.

I won't criticize anyone for supporting him on that basis. I enjoy and appreciate that aspect of him, too.

Unfortunately, though, some of his supporters tend to give him more credit (or less blame) than he actually deserves. For example, if Hillary had been POTUS and had said and done the things regarding guns that Trump did and said, she'd have (correctly) been excoriated and reviled for it - but when Trump did and said those things, some people tied themselves into pretzels trying to make excuses for him ("it's not a big deal", "it's 3D chess", "Hillary would have been worse", etc.). It's become something of a litmus test for me: anyone who refuses to acknowledge that Trump is a half-assed gun-grabber[2] (despite whatever other merits he might have) is suffering from "reverse TDS" to at least some degree.

[1] A narcissistic bull, to be sure - but his adversaries are just as narcissistic, and at least Trump wears his narcissism on his sleeve (which is actually somewhat endearing - the fact that he doesn't really even bother trying to hide it makes him seem more "authentic" and "genuine" in a left-handed kind of way).

[2] As distinct from full-assed gun-grabbers (like Hillary).

I don't follow what you are saying. Why... what? What would have changed with what? Your meaning isn't clear to me at all. I don't even get what supposition you think I am trying to make that I would prove.

I do 100% agree with you that conventional wisdom doesn't apply anymore to modern politics.

As I see it, we are in a fight of Globalists vs America First. I don't know what side you are on or even if you care. I do know that I care and I am apologetically pro-America and Anti-Globalist. Everything else is meaningless minutiae.

He's claiming Hitlery would have been just like Trump. :facepalming:

She would have been just like Brandon.

Gee, how did he know?

Want to know why he hired the drunken bum 9iu11iani to botch the investigation into that "election"? Could it be because he knew for a fact that the same thing would happen if he had been reelected?

Of course he knew that. He had already printed the trillions and given it all to Big Pharma. Why would he want the blame for what he destroyed? You may think printing trillions for your cronies doesn't devalue the currency if the crook who does it wears an R next to his name, but he knew better all along.

There isn't half as much difference between Brandon and your favorite puppet as you're letting on. Biden hasn't done anything but finish what Trump started. There aren't many people left that still can't see that.

I understand.

You need to believe Santa Claus is real.
