Who do you vote for at a brokered convention if it comes down to Trump and Rubio and you have to choose ?

Who do you pick, pretend you are that delegate ?

Unlike previous election conventions, Iowa seems bound to this for the first ballot . . .

Iowa had always previously been unbound of course, thus Ron Paul's 21 first ballot votes in the 2012 GOP National Convention.
Maybe it was 2004, but one Iowa delegate just voted "none" instead of them all going to George W

Rubio is more likely to start a war with Russia, so there's that. I could never vote for either of them though.

Easy vote for Trump. Rubio is nothing but a puppet of the Neocon Establishment. Rand would be rendered utterly powerless and impotent under a Rubio Presidency. Under Trump, Rand would be a power broker, working with Trump on Foreign Policy and trade and standing up to him on issues like Civil Liberties and Eminent Domain.

Rand has been extremely clear that he believes in free trade. He has voted for every single free trade agreement. The last person he would work with on trade is Trump. If by work, you mean actively oppose and filibuster, then he might do that.

i myself now more than toy with the idea of being the not so lonesome
and lonely RANDSLIDE "lil ole moi" BAY STATER at 2020's RNC shindig.
i must kindly think of what it might be like to currently live in Iowa and
be aware Texas is rather close in terms of location, location, location. :D
body language suggests to me that TED CRUZ struts the way LBJ once
did, even as he was part of the winning ticket in 1960. Just sayin' this.
I am aware that TED CRUZ would be a tad more comfortable with the '64
GOP platform that AuH2O ran on, than most of his opponents. Tough Choice.

Those of course were first ballots . . .
It was in 2004 that although George W Bush was unopposed, one Iowa delegate decides . . . NOT
(maybe to agree with his Congressman Jim Leach, who was one of the 6 GOP opposition votes to Iraqi War Resolution Act of 2002 in the House with Congressman Ron Paul (14th-TX)

Here now in 2016 on the first ballot in Cleveland, Iowa Governor or whoever steps to the podium and has to say ". . . Senator Rand Paul, one"

So, Rand WILL be on the second ballot certainly, if they need a second ballot,

Rand Paul

If it were me, I would probably write in Gil Fulbright.

Seriously.

The biggest Trade deal of the next President will be the Trans Pacific Partnership, a horrific anti-liberty treaty that Rand will surely oppose.

I'm not sure what Iowa's rules are or if they even selected their delegates yet, but if I were one bound to Paul I'd strongly consider not going. I wouldn't want to put up a few thousand and take off work to spend the week at an RNC propaganda pageant.
