So Mitt, you want my vote in the general election? Here is my price:

Mitt is a war monger like the rest of 'em & will neve,r ever get my vote.

Mitt's dad became anti-vietnam war in the midst of his primary campaign and lost. maybe mitt learned it better to wait until the general election. What if he flipped and went full tilt antiwar during the general election?

My vote is not for sale. Sorry establishment

Seems pretty short sighted, him helping a bunch of our liberty candidates win would be long term success, especially if you think there is little to no difference between Obama and Mitt.

Do you really believe that's going to happen? What about the Easter Bunny? Do you believe in him, too?

Do y'all seriously think he cares if he has your votes or not? Probably a third of RP people will vote for him anyway simply because he has an R by his name...even more if he names Rand VP. Or he will name Rubio and cater to the Latino voters or Santorum to get the evangelicals. The Tea Partiers will vote for him anyway because most of them already sold their souls. What price can you put on liberty?

Santorum would be an idiotic pick. Portman would be more likely. So would Chris Christie. Paul Ryan would be a strong choice as well but I happen to know that he's turned down the efforts of Romney's camp to recruit him for VP once already. If they really needed him they might go after him again but I highly doubt it.

I won't vote for Romney... I could get millions of dollars and etc.... I'd rather live in a dumpster then sell out my principles.

i have a hard time taking anybody seriously that says they wouldn't push that chad for a million dollars. I would, then i'd take the money and run for office myself and/or support others of like mind.

Stranger things have happened. i think Mitt wants to win, the public is against the wars. He could very well make the spending argument Paul has made.

The GOP base is most certainly NOT against the wars. They salivate for an opportunity to rally around the flag in the town square to chant "USA! USA!" and weep when they hear Lee Greenwood sing "God Bless the USA".
You could skip the sensationalism, it cheapens your comments.
Sure, I could have. But the sensationalism illustrated just how ridiculous it is to suggest that Romney is going to go all antiwar after the convention.

It's really a shame that you'd sell out your values for any amount of money. That says a lot about you that you would.

This is about the general election, not the GOP base. Candidates usually go towards the middle in the general election, yes? Like I said, he has a family history of flipflopping against wars in presidential elections.

Being VP is a useless position... However, it is a good tool to educate people.

GOP speaking spot is only 15minutes and might have technical difficulties.

VP would have many speaking time on national TV to many, many tens of millions of Americans and people. I accept that VP position might be selling out or powerless in decisions that are made in the country, but it is one hell of an educational speaking spot.

Or it says a lot about the totally meaningless process of "voting" in November. It can depend greatly upon what state you live in. If you live in a state where it's patently obvious Romney is going to win in a landslide, you could do as the poster stated, take the million dollars, and dole it out to local races in which we have liberty candidates, or run on your own.

lol, I'll try to take it personally. If there is no difference between Obama and Mitt, then the only difference would be that i got a million with mitt and zero with Obama. I'll take the million with door #2, thanks.

My concessions I would demand will not be met. I'm quite sure the promises and tempting will soon start. It will be baloney. Ron will probably be asked for to fill a position. Screw all this bullshit. I'm voting only on one's record and the only one good enough for me is still Ron.

Yes, they do go towards the middle....but don't expect him to flip-flop that much on such an important issue to the GOP base. He's not going to completely throw them under the bus. The move to the middle will be subtle.

I'm trying to keep you grounded here.
