So it begins: "Man arrested for having too much ammo"

If this leads to a conviction, the camel's nose is in the tent - in fact the whole camel except maybe his tail is in the tent.

We need more info on this.

It's pretty fucking odd to be carrying 10,000 rounds in your car...

He wasn't a U.S. Citizen. Doesn't one need to be a U.S. Citizen to purchase firearms?

Strange case

Furthermore, de la Cruz said that when Garcia moved to Haverhill, he had a 60-day grace period to obtain a Massachusetts firearms card.

Seems he may have been just moving his ammunition from his old address to his new address.
The move must have been less than 60 days ago or they wouldn't mention the 60-day grace period.

Since when did you need a reason to haul ammo around in your car?

Anyhow, the guy could have just bought all that crap and was hauling it home for all they know. If you read the report it said the ammo is a mix of 38spl, 9mm, and 22lr. I got money more than half that is .22lr which isn't uncommon to buy that mush at one time. I generally pick up 3,000-4,000rds my self back before this buying frenzy.

Good point, more likely 9,000 rounds 22 lr and a few boxes of the other.

Its pretty fucking odd to be carrying around 10,000 bottle caps too. So can I be arrested and convicted for carrying around 10,000 bottle caps? The man who arrested him just for having lots of ammo is a traitor and possibly should get life in prison for this because he is a traitor to the constitution (which gives us the right to as much ammo as we want be that a thousand rounds or a trillion rounds).

Its called the right to self defense and clearly more people need to learn about it because it should not be a limited right.

Garcia is charged with three counts of possession of a high-capacity firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and illegal storage of a firearm.

Clearly there are laws in that area that he broke?

Maybe if he gets a good enough lawyer he can use this case to attempt to change the laws?

Would be interested to see what the laws actually are and how the cops ended up searching his car..

There are three levels of firearms "licenses" you can obtain in Mass. You must have a least one to posess any firearm.

A FOID, a Level B license to carry, and a Level A license to carry.

You must have a level A LTC to posess an "assault rifle" or high cap mags.

You must have at least one of the above to posess ammo.

Now, the 60 day "grace" period should have covered this.

Also, non citizens are prohibited from possessing firearms under Mass. state law.

http://www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/140-131h.htm

Federal law prohibits non "green card" holding aliens from possessing firearms.

Sadly, this guy sounds burned, his cash and firearms are certainly gone.

His mistake was leaving NH.

well, maybe he should have

well, maybe he should have

* not given up his right to remain silent and "volunteered" a bunch of info about what he was going to do with the ammo

* not surrendered his right to searches without a warrant and allowed them to "find" his legally purchased property

they didnt pull him over because they saw him dumping ammo out the window did they???

no, they probably gave him a ticket for a minor traffic violation and then he did the rest to himself especially if he was nervous about having the ammo and the LEO picked up on it

yes, refusing a search would have been a hassle but in comparison to the hassle he has now it would be a blessing

there would have been the typical "why don't you want me to search in your car?" from the LEO and threats but they would either

a. let him go because they had nothing to proceed on but they might make him wait for 2-3 hours

b. trump up a charge to get into the car - "smelled marijuana" for example - and then when none was found all evidence from the search was 'poisoned' and could not be used in court

c. actually get a warrant (unlikely) and way too much work for the typical LEO

i think it might be worth your time

assert your rights or you will pay dearly to get them back

oh and what about the right to his property remaining in his possession until after found guilty???

Sounds like maybe the guy was selling the ammo to friends in the Dominican Republic.

Still, nothing wrong with that though. I don't see what law he broke.

Excellent video, I have watched the busted videos multiple times. I wish more people would. I have realized my friends are kinda idiots when it comes to this stuff. I was involved in a car wreck in April. My friends spewed all sorts of information when SFTU was the answer. Luckily we got out of the situation just fine.

The guy may have been breaking some state laws apparently but deffinetely not federal laws. Massachusetts is a Nazi state, what else is there to be said about it.

However, even if he broke some state laws living in Nazi Germany eerrrr Soviet Russia, errr Massachusetts Amerika, he did nothing wrong whatsoever.

Also, I encourage you all to buy as much ammo as you can afford weekly. See if you can beat this man's stash!

Also, it is time to put our grassroots power to full force. What do we do? We really cannot let this slip by. This man is clearly one of us. He is now a hero and martyr forged by the tyranny of the government. We MUST protest this.

It is impossible to have "too much ammo". Anyone who thinks otherwise has never spoken to a German WWII vet of the eastern front.
