Snow in Los Angeles, global warming huh?

I must have blinked and missed it. Toluca Lake is right by me. I saw hail, though. When my Dad was a kid once he tobogganed down the hill here though. It does happen freakishly, every once in a zillion years.

snow was an exaggeration, as you can see in the pics, it's very thin, but still very VERY rare for Los Angeles (almost miraculous for end of Feburary)

It snowed in Bakersfield sometime during the mid to late '80s that I can recall. A light snow though, but snow all the same. It was amazing at the time.

It's claimed that snow is more common during the initial warming because more ocean water evaporates = more moisture in the air = greater chance for snow.

It may be true that global warming is occuring, but I don't think there's any conclusive evidence to support that human activity is to blame.

LoL, I thought that was gag, for some reason I couldn't find it on the map and figured maybe Tarantino made it up.
