ETA: Truth be told I have no idea how to record it live. I'm waiting for the police to act overly aggressive and attack someone. With today's social media, I'm not sure they'll do that. It is no race riot. It is no racially segregated protest. Kids expressing frustration over the case.

The riot will happen when the riot police come.

Pretty much.

Watching it last night I was surprised it didn't turn violent. A few times it could have but it was being led by leaders, I'm not sure who they were, who calmed the mob down and took them in another direction.

Quite a few people turned out.

Cops ordered them onto sidewalks near around 12:00AM and some people stayed in the road. A couple even sat down. Cops shot them with beanbags. Everyone took off running after that. They also had a few plainclothes cops come up from behind and tackle a couple instigators. I would be surprised if more than a dozen people were arrested for trivial things.

The cops knew they were being videotaped and acted accordingly. They weren't indiscriminately beating people or particularly out of line. All in all I'd say they handled it pretty well. People were banging on the windows of businesses and a couple people were starting trouble. I'm surprised it ended as it did. Could have been a lot worse.
