Snoop Dogg's Facebook!! 13.9 Million Followers!!

I liked and commented. I hope he does come out for him. Putting the "black vote" in play for a republican would be something that hasn't happened since FDR. That could happen if some major black entertainers or prominent celebs made people stop and look at the freedom message. I mean how has Obama helped minorities aside from showing them that they can be a bankster puppet too? I think Wiz, Snoop, KRS one, immortal tech, lupe fiasco and some others might actually support Ron over Obama. With even 25% of the black vote going to Ron, I don't think Obama can mathematically win.

Snoop was on The Price is Right a few weeks ago. People loved it. You'd be surprised how many middle-aged and older, middle class, white people like Snoop. For whatever reason, he just seems to get a pass on all his indiscretions. He's just likeable.

True, he's been on Martha Stewart's show a few times. Even made some "special" brownies with her.

Ahem.

Like someone already said it's just a shout out and not all that accurate in the statement but I'll take what comes. It's not like you can stop people from supporting Ron Paul who has stated that "freedom brings people together for many different reasons" (paraphrasing, one or two words off).

I doubt that Lupe Fiasco will be endorsing though because if I'm not mistaken he stated he will never vote for another politician in his life and he said in a song that he didn't vote for Obama.

Well, Ron Paul isn't a politician as we know them, right? :) He's a doctor and libertarian who is battling the stigma of the American politician. That's the thing about Dr. Paul, he's one of a kind. I don't even consider him a politician; I consider him an honest person who represents liberty. He's a strong vessel to carry the message, but a politician he will never be if it shares the description of his peers.

eh, this is bad press if the GOP media gets a hold of it. How many of snoops followers are registered GOP voters? Any estimates?

Snoops followers are likely more unregistered than anything. Or independent. In a place like Maine, there's same day registration, only registered Democrats can't participate.

Ron Paul holds a number of positions that many Republicans don't like at all. Those Republicans probably find his foreign policy more distasteful than his states rights, limited constitutional government view on marijuana.

Fuck the GOP and their media, they will find something bad to report about either anyway.

Snoop is a boss.

Exactly. This could make the apathetic youth vote SURGGGGGEEEE!
^This
Yes, this is valuable. Will establishment GOP press try to use this to smear Ron? Of course they will, but they were going to be doing that about something anyway so that's not a loss. Also more importantly this does huge damage to the 'stigma' the media has been trying to build up around Ron Paul and is a real blow to the "he's a racist" narrative they've been trying to construct. Who do you think lots of people listen to more celebrities or establishment politicians/journalists? Like it or not celebrities carry more wight for a lot of folks and are more likely to be able to motivated them to actually vote/act.
You don't have to like Snoop Dogg or his music to acknowledge that this just made Ron Paul "cool" to a whole group of people who might not have taken the time to listen to his message otherwise. And that is what it's all about, because the message is a winner. If this spreads the message enough for what Paul is really saying to go viral, that's game changing.
It's too early to call at this stage but I've been talking about the "glass wall" the corporate media has been building around Ron to try and stifle him and the liberty message, and what it could mean if that wall comes down. 13 million+ people (before shares) has the capacity to do that, again I don't know if it will but it might and that would be game changing.

there's no such thing as bad press

Not to remark on this thread especially, though I am a steadily vocal proponent of the decriminalization of marijuana, but more broadly, it would be instructive to establish a ballpark percent for how many Ron Paul Supporters believe there is no such thing as bad press.

I hate the term African american, we are all american, my great grandmother isnt even from africa. I would rather be called american

Exactly so.

I will call people African American the day that IRISH AMERICAN appears on official forms and the day that people walk on eggshells with anything that might be construed as ANTI IRISH, so as not to ignite my short fuse.
