Snoop Dogg's Facebook!! 13.9 Million Followers!!

for all the people thinking that Snoop only has appeal to the democratic base and not the GOP, you gotta remember that a lot of folks now in their late 20s and early 30s grew up listening to him long before they realized where they stood politically. Snoop has somewhat universal appeal.

Explain SOMEWHAT UNIVERSAL.

Dude relax. The women, seniors, and boomers you're referencing aren't on this forum and aren't on Snoop's Facebook.

Dontcha mean CHILLAX? I will, on the subject of Snoop Dogg -- tho not on the subject of Celebrity Ass Kissing.

Nevermind that resources, TIME chief among them, are scarce. Carry on. Anyone with nearly 1500 posts in two months MUST be Solid.

Eh, don't forget people in their late thirties and early fourties for that matter, lots of high school kids in the suburbs got down to "Nothing but a g thang" and "Gin and Juice" in 1992/1993. Late thirites would have been in high school, 40s were in college or early to mid twenties at the time.

"Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" is a 1993 hit song by American gangsta rapper Dr. Dre, from his debut solo album, The Chronic. It features rapper Snoop Dogg and is the first single from the album. "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 (Informer by Snow topped the charts when the song went to its highest peak on the week of March 20, 1993)

"Gin and Juice" is the second single by rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg from his debut album Doggystyle. A top 10 hit single on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, peaking at number eight, "Gin and Juice" was nominated for the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. It was voted the 69th Greatest Rap song as ranked in rap.about.com[1] and number eight on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.

1992-93 was the origin of Doggystyle, and if you want to get technical NWA influences may have had some impact on people in their 50s.

ding ding ding.

About 33% of Americans are weed smokers. If this was the #1 issue and Ron ran Independent, the WH would be his lol.

not niche. Snoop Dog is old school. You didn't have to be a ghetto dog high on drugs to love his style and his music. He was cutting edge back in the day, and has wide appeal because not only because of his style, but his substance I believe speaks to the natural tendency towards freedom and liberty that we are all born with.

Perhaps my interpretation skills are off, but I take this as an unnecessary low blow. I'm not going to post my resume and campaign contributions (time, energy, money) publicly in defense. I addressed you in a PM.

If you feel compelled to take more jabs, "I want you to hit me as hard as you can."

I pretty much hate rap/hip hop. Snoop has been one of the very few I have found tolerable. I'm 27.

Don't sweat it, from what I've read it sounds like cheapseats has a pineapple stuck up their ass.

Seriously, this whole thing is a side show to the election, if snoop wants to make something of it then cool. FYI, I'm a snoop fan, 23, white republican so cheapseats GTFO with that "snoop fans don't vote BS".

Cheapseats is a freaking idiot and a major thorn in the side of the mostly reasonable and gentle minds that occupy this forum. Don't even give this snake the time of day.

I think Cheapseats provides some really good commentary.

some folks on this forum have a tendency to get stuck in a RPF bubble and lose grasp of reality. Cheapseats does a good job of bringing them back. (Even if he may be a bit harsh at times.)

the majority probably don't vote, and if they did they probably don't vote based on what just one rapper tells them, nor do most of them vote in the GOP.

Fans of Snoop are probably fans of Wiz, Drake and Mac Miller and a bunch of others. So I really doubt this one endrosement is going to make a huge difference. Especially in the GOP.

He makes for a likeable actor too. I always enjoy seeing him, the show 'Weeds' had a good episode with him that I really enjoyed. Im 26, and don't like hiphop at all. I just like snoop.

This was awesome news to wake up to.

Taking cheapshots at someone he/she knows nothing about is not really good commentary. Sorry.

Even if Snoop's shout-out wasn't in the most politically correct manner, it amazes me that some here will bitch and moan about free publicity toward Ron Paul. So, groan about BlackOuts. And then grumble about ShoutOuts.

Such irony....
