No, I doubt it. Cat changed his name to something pretty Middle Eastern sounding and is on the "no fly" list. He lives in Great Britian, I believe.

Nope. He doesn't go by that name anymore. He's Muslim and goes by Yusef Islam. He lives in London if I remember correctly.

And to add my opinion, I seriously doubt that Cat is much of a threat. He was on an aircraft inbound to the US a while back that was either turned around or diverted to Canada because he was on the "no fly" list. I suppose his easy listening sound and mellow lyrics pose some sort of security threat to "democracy".

I defended him when that happened but it's hard to defend him for some of the comments he made about Salmon Rushdie. It's sickening how much religion can sometimes change people for the worst.

Unbelievable singer and songwriter though. Moonshadow is an amazing song and is true poetry. Not a bad ballad for the "Revolution" no matter what dont give up and look forward to the future. Not sure if that is how it should be interpreted but that is how I am reading it.
