Completely baffles me, well done guys.

Watch out for all this legal talk though.

I think because its different, because its unusal and because it represents a spirit to this campaign the other candidates lack. And probably becaus ethey think its hilarious.

And for those reason, this blimp may just work. Look throughout history and you've seen candidates use gimmicks to draw attention to themselves. We're no different.

I was skeptical, but this thing just might be crazy enough to work, by Jove!

Because they all want free goofy BLimp rides.. and when the reporters' little 3 year old kid says "Daddy can we go in the blimp" why then theyll cover it with gracious media reports.. "Gotta do SOME kind of work to justify being in a blimp all day with your kids"

Right, it's because it's a unique human interest story.

Ordinary people did this in the name of something larger than themselves or even the man they allow to carry their torch.

That's a winning story any day anywhere, you don't have to be a news editor to know it either.

Just wait, and I mean WAIT, until the blimp starts getting the Make-A-Wish kids aboard. Here come Oprah and Ellen! :D

Will the blimp come over Raleigh North Carolina on route from Asheville to Elizabeth City? You almost can't not pass over Raleigh but I wasn't sure. Would love to see it and hugging I40 from Asheville to Raleigh is the best way to get a lot of attention. You will pass over the triad (Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem) and the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill) along I40 which are the two largest population centers (media markets) with the exception of Charlotte.

it's not cause it was different, it's cause we did it without the campaign, it's amazing for them to see this kinda od decentralized organization, it's a slap in the face to collectivist that anything can be done without strong central control

Entirely possible they are looking for an excuse to talk about Ron Paul.
Eight days until the teaparty should tell the tale. I have the feeling media will be pushing us along this time around.

.....OR could it be that no other grassroots campaign in history has ever attempted a blimp?

can anyone confirm?

qft

Not to mention the embedded symbolism of it all.

Heck yes!

I knew this blimp idea was genius as soon as that Huffington Post article making fun of it came out. The revolutionary way the company was put together to skirt the FEC just adds another newsworthy angle to the whole story! The grassroots/blimp organizers ROCK!

Everyone pat yourself on the back, because we are making history.
