Should RP tell the truth about IRAN? It's about BIG oil, stupid!

Before the Iraq War, we were told the cost of war would be paid by Iraqi Oil which is not obviously happening. Now 10 years later, the Major Western Oil Companies all have production agreements with the new Iraqi government.

I have two young children who live there because their step-father is assigned to an Iraqi project for a major, major, major oil company. After taking all the money from me that she could, my divorce lawyer leveled with me and said I could not keep my kids in the US even though I had a clearly-defined geographic restriction in place. It seemed absurd to me. I often wonder whether that would have been true if it were not an assignment with the major, major, major oil company.

Lesson learned is a divorced father is just a child support payer in the eyes of the State of Texas. The language in that divorce decree is only effective until the mother decides she'd like things to be different. Even to the point of sending your children to the Straits of Hormuz.

Before we took Iraq, the two countries in the world with by far the most years of future production at current production rates were Iraq and Iran. I think their biggest sin was not producing their oil fast enough. Then when you read how the major oil companies reserves were getting harder and harder to replace, it makes sense that they would like the Iraqi and Iranian reserves to be on their books. And to Saddam Hussein and the Iranian mullahs, it's not yours if you can't defend it.

Now if you are a major oil company who owns a lot of senators and has dwindling reserves, isn't it a lot easier to have your senators vote to steal the oil from Saddam Hussein than to explore and produce reserves that you have legally leased? And you don't have to pay the cost of the war, that's for the US taxpayer to do. Iran is a huge, populous nation, but the bulk of the population and development is on the northeast side of a mountainous barrier while the oil lies in the strip of desert along the Persian Gulf. Militarily, it's not a big deal to take the oil fields and leave the bulk of Iran's developed population to themselves. Once taken, that strip of oil rich land is very difficult for Iranians to re-take since they would be on the other side of the mountains.

I now firmly believe that Israel is just a sideline topic designed to throw us off the trail of the true bandits. The major oil companies.

Very sad story, sorry to hear that. Hope you'll see your children back home soon :)

He should just start stating the truth. Why not mention Iran is one of the few countries without a Rothchild Central Bank, oil, and geopolitical politics. We end up going to war, he looks like more of a prophet.
