Should Rand, Cruz and Carson focus on exposing Rubio?

All anti-establishment candidates should be running against Rubio and the GOP establishment

Paul, Cruz, and Rubio all vote similar. They are natural allies that agree on most things. I'm not sure why any of them should be on the attack again another one of them. You can disagree with me, but look at their voting records. They are three of the most similar Senators we have.

Yes. This is because they were just voting the way Rand would for most of the votes, except for the really big ones they wanted to make sure passed. The others they knew they had the numbers for from the Democrats so they didnt bother voting (like the budget one). They wanted to give the illusion that they are "tea party" candidates when they are just part of the hijackers.

I do feel like it's a good idea to have more people talking about these important issues on the debate stage because it doesnt sound so "fringe" if multiple people are talking about it. However, how does Rand go about grabbing the votes away from Cruz? I can see Rubio being a tad easier to grab votes from by talking about his stances on war and repeat as he's been saying in interviews about him being like Hillary. Perhaps maybe Rand shouldnt even bother with Cruz's supporters and hope they hop over, meanwhile focusing on Carson and Trump supporters? If he's going to play it safe and not expose people, that means he has to knock it out of the park on all of his responses and find some type of "Giuliani moment". Unfortunately, it seems that Cruz has been set up to make those moves. It's almost like the moderators are staging scenarios to give candidates "feel-good" talking points like when Cruz called them out about the attacks on the candidates. Seeing how Rand is on the last podium, by time a question is given to him, there's only so much to say that Cruz hasn't already mentioned Rand's stances with emotional words attached.

Thanks for the perspectives, guys. Personally, I've distrusted Rubio ever since his premeditated, fake weepiness during his speech to the 2012 national convention. That incident pretty much convinced me he was dominated by raw selfish ambition for the presidency, and nothing I've seen since has changed my opinion.

Cruz at least gives an occasional compelling pro-liberty floor speech. Rubio seems to resent the fact that he even had to serve in the lowly U.S. Senate before assuming his rightful place in the White House:

Rand's latest email hammed Rubio on amnesty, foreign policy, and Obamatrade.

The Bush SuperPAC may just take care of this with a couple million worth of negative ads. They clearly have the warchest and I wonder if Rubio would even be a contender for VP anymore once he's been exposed

No, Rand will get Carson's supporters by being nice with him because Carson's likeability/favorability is through the roof and Rand recognizes an opportunity to dismantle the establishment after Trump fails and Carson starts to trend downward just like every candidate that is an 'outsider'. If anything, attack Rubio.

Now I'd be interested in getting some opinions about Cruz going after Rubio on his support for sugar subsidies. I'm wondering whether that strikes others as an unnecessary distraction or a worthwhile line of attack.

Marco Rubio: Yes, Big Government CAN create jobs…for my voters
One of the most significant moments in last night’s GOP debate came when Ted Cruz took a subtle shot at Marco Rubio over the latter’s support for Big Sugar.

Cruz is attacking Rubio on immigration and a Bush PAC is about to drop $20 million to attack Rubio in Iowa and NH.

Rand should stand on the side lines quietly and let it happen with a big bag of pop corn. If asked by media yes explain that Rubio is a fake but don't waste money on Rubio.

Who should expose Cruz?

Cruz, Rubio Vote to Increase Debt By $400 Billion; Paul, Sanders Vote No http://truthinmedia.com/cruz-rubio-vote-increase-debt-ceiling-paul-votes-no/

Donald should expose Cruz. Especially since Donald made himself a figurehead over Obamas eligibility and self-proclaims to have made Obama release his BC. Not only could Trump go after Cruz for his lack of eligibility, he could get him for TPA, and I don't think Donald and Cruz are close on immigration or birthright citizenship as Cruz would have Donald believe.
