Same for the video and pictorial "eyewitness" credits. Ive been googling all of the credited names and so far they're practically all Hollywood figures too. One is the Producer of NCIS. Another a Producer for Hallmark Channel. Another is a "Digital Media Coordinator". etc etc

I get that it's LA so lots of Hollywood types around but what are the odds that all the "good stuff" is from people in the media business that know how to put on a show?

Or no one was shot at all. CNN interviewees have already said it didn't sound like gun shots. The video CNN just started showing of people scrambling for the door suddenly (credited to TMZ), doesn't contain the sound of a single gun shot yet everyone is running like they're being shot at. The video looks staged. Someone in a hoody behind a pillar with a walkie talkie is seen for a moment pulling a luggage cart out of the way of all the suddenly running people. That person then disappears back behind the pillar instead of running out. Looks like a handler of some sort. Don't get me started on how practically all of the "eyewitness" phone interviews CNN has done has been with Hollywood figures, not regular folks.

If you keep watching the TMZ video, that isn't a white hoodie, but a female handler's actual hair. When the guy shooting the video goes outside and turns the camera back toward the inside, you'll see her come out the door, pushing that cart directly toward him.

Gannon says the gunman entered the terminal, pulled an assault rifle from a bag and began shooting at a screening checkpoint before entering the secured area. Officers took him into custody after a shootout. "As you can imagine, a large amount of chaos took place in this entire incident," he said.

SHOOTER'S FATHER WAS CONCERNED

A New Jersey police chief says the suspect had apparently made references to suicide. Pennsville Chief Allen Cummings says Paul Ciancia's father had called him Friday saying another of his children had received a text message from the suspect "in reference to him taking his own life." Cummings says the elder Ciancia, also named Paul, asked him for help locating his son.

Shooter was not TSA officer.

Tim Kauffman, a spokesman for American Federation of Government Employees, which represents 45,000 TSA screeners, says the airport shooter was not a TSA officer.

FIRST TSA OFFICER KILLED

Union and TSA officials say the TSA officer shot at LAX was the first ever killed in the line of duty. J. David Cox Sr., national president of the American Federation of Government Employees, says the officer was one of the behavioral detection officers stationed throughout the airport looking for suspicious behavior.

Two were shot- one later died.

AT THE HOSPITAL

Three of the six people hospitalized are being treated at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center.

A hospital official says one was in critical condition and two were in fair condition. Two were wounded by gunshots and the other suffered other injuries. All are male.

Not really. No significant gun laws have been passed in most states (what was it, New York that passed something? And federal gun laws failed.) in relation to shootings and the natural progression of anti-gun laws has been heading down this path for dozens of years.
