Shooting at LAX...

Just heard on tv, I think it was CNBC, that the shooter yelled that the TSA were "fascists" and "anti-American," and in the shooter's backpack was material mentioning the "New World Order." The guy went on to give his opinion that the NWO refers to "a growing group of people who believe that the world is going to be taken over by black helicopters."

here is an article with the NWO stuff even mentions black helicopters

Not really. No significant gun laws have been passed in most states (what was it, New York that passed something? And federal gun laws failed.) in relation to shootings and the natural progression of anti-gun laws has been heading down this path for dozens of years. The shootings themselves have no real impact.

I'm going to have to say you are wrong about that. Incremental fear mongering can do a wonderful job on the psyche. With each episode they get closer and closer to their goal. Do not think that the shootings and the coverage and spin they receive have no real impact.

I think we're already at the point of diminishing results, it seems these incidents happen on a schedule.

Whenever Obama starts catching too much heat (Obamacare being current CF), a shooter story is surely not far behind to change the subject.

You're probably correct. It's so sad how people I know are so easily distracted.

They do, have been, happening on schedule. I don't see any of it as diminishing results. Each episode leads to the next. Until such a point is reached that something
has to be done because it is a monthly, weekly, daily occurrence. I know libtards. Thy salivate over these stories and the need to take firearms away from others.

That is the writers opinion. not anything found.
CBS News correspondent John Miller reported that according to investigators, Ciancia had a gun in his bag. Inside the bag, investigators came up with notes saying that the TSA were fascists and pigs, anti-American rantings, anti-TSA rantings am and references to the new world order, which is another growing conspiracy group that believes the world is going to be taken over by forces and black helicopters and so on.

Nothing but his uninformed and half ass opinion.

Yep--her we go...
Did LAX gunman subscribe to New World Order conspiracy theory? Final note suggests he followed beliefs that secretive elite controlled the globe

Paul Ciancia, 23, had sent his relatives multiple 'rambling' text messages talking about his disgust with the government and unhappiness in general
Police found a note at the airport written by him where he references a conspiracy about how 'powerful elites' will take over the world

Shooter Paul Anthony Ciancia

There are those three names!

Inserting Ciancia into search engines will seriously fuck up search results! I've noticed that search results on both Y! and Google lately have been skewed heavily by injected media terms and names. The big media sites get the first few pages of results with their approved storylines.

Blamed on libertarians in 5...4...3....

Also shows why security checkpoints are useless. What's to stop a terrorist from detonating a bomb right at the TSA checkpoint? Mandatory cavity checks anytime you leave your house.

You were exactly right. I heard this story on the radio in the morning before I saw the thread, and they said the perpetrator "had it in for the TSA" detailing how he had "anti-government material" and went on to explain how the TSA is doing such good work because they found over 800 guns in people's luggage this year (or maybe it was last year?).

No doubt this will be used as justification to crack down on people who like to hand out anti-TSA literature at airports in their free time. That's all they needed to justify it in the eyes of the dumbed down masses.

Next thing you know, they'll have pre-security checkpoint screening. Problem solved.

Happened on the same day the news came out that millions of people's food stamps would be cut. Just sayin..

Someone is already making statements "thanking the brave TSA members who put their life on the line"...

Seriously? Who?

I noticed they mentioned that the TSA agent who was shot was the first casualty "in the line of duty" in the program's 12-year history. There seems to be a major lapse between the level of danger of the job that is being portrayed by such language, and the level of danger that this incident suggests (the first death in all 12 years of existence...)
