Rand should not go after Trump at all, except for his flip-flopping.
IMO Rand should not focus on going after Trump, that play should be left to play out itself. Rand has substance, on style he could even emulate Trump a bit and get bit more reckless/fearless in facing/answering attacks. It pays to be bold with some convictions/substabce to back that up with.
Rand should not go after Trump at all, except for his flip-flopping. The Trump supporters are the independent-minded voters who might support Rand.

Rand should forget about Trump, and think about how to bring down Carly. she will get a bump into the top 10, and that puts Rand in danger.
If they're successful at taking Trump down then they would have no use for Rand and I suspect they'll try to drive him out of the top 10. I sure hope Rand's team is prepared either way, they got their hands full.
Rand could have rode the anti-establishment wave with Trump. They are the two candidates on the other side of the Republican establishment with the largest targets on their back. Now was not the time to attack Trump.
Ron was wise to strategically have an alliance with Romney. He just took it too far now we see his son go too far the opposite way.
Trump is praising Rubio today and slamming Rand. It could have been the other way around since that would have been Trump's most logical choice against the establishment before Rand's attacks.
Rand could not have ridden any waves with Trump. Surfing is not a team sport. Rand Paul had no choice but to rock the boat. None.
Rand will never be accepted by the establishment and scored no points for doing their bidding last night. They want him out of the race as much as they want Trump out of the race.
They baited Rand to attack Trump at this point in the race and he fell for it. It got him no where since they gave him little time, gave him weak questions and then slammed him anyway after the debate while praising Christie.
What should he have done differently ? You play with the cards you are dealt, not the ones you wish you would have.
Did you watch the same debate. Rand was not dealt the Trump cards. Rand went on the attack without being called upon injecting himself in a debate with Trump when it was not necessary like a puppet of the establishment. The same establishment that wants to get him out the race as soon as possible.
He even attacked Trump on a subject for which they agree, allowing insurance companies to compete across state lines. Trump shut-him down.
