Second choice?

No One But Paul

I think a Trump nomination would be worst for the future of the GOP which has its benefits (hopefully something less neoconnish can fill the void) but not only is that not likely, but since Trump's main appeal is through fear, whatever replaces it could even be more anti-liberty. The last thing we need are neocons on steroids shifting the Overton window.

Ted Cruz is loved by Adelson's wife. Enough said.

I guess that leaves "nominate a RINO to get whooped" and then hope that next time around, the party finally wisens up. Hasn't happened yet, but in that case a Jeb! or Kasich nomination may be the best for the sake of Rand 2020.

If there's no rand, there is no second choice. In that case I'll be going 3rd party, will research the 3rd parties if that happens and decide then.

Same here. Cruz woooooed me when he called Mitch McConnell a liar. Now that I know his wife is Goldman Sachs, and his campaign manager is Goldman Sachs, and his campaign revenue comes from Goldman Sachs .... F'k that lying piece of chit.

I was contemplating Ted as a second choice, but had ruled him out w/ his hawkish foreign policy. Unfortunately I am more and more convinced that he's just paying lip service to whatever curries favor.

I'm thinking he is a Goldman Sachs plant to deliver the election to their Queen and King, Hillary and Bill Clinton.

I'm still not certain what I will do. In a way, I'm attracted to Trump because he can and will turn the current political system into mush. The people are on the verge of revolution, and Trump certainly may be the tipping point.
