I don't get good vibes from him but know nothing about his motives or he's working for some other interest. It's always possible that he just wants to be relevant and get attention. Sometimes it's that simple. There's an awful lot of that with the internet. Does he even have a career?
He's written quite a few books including
Endgame: Solving the Iraq Crisis (1999)
War on Iraq: What Team Bush Doesn't Want You To Know (2002)
Frontier Justice: Weapons of Mass Destruction and the Bushwhacking of America (2003)
Iraq Confidential: The Untold Story of the Intelligence Conspiracy to Undermine the UN and Overthrow Saddam Hussein (2005)
Target Iran: The Truth About the White House's Plans for Regime Change (2006)
Waging Peace: The Art of War for the Antiwar Movement (2007)
Dangerous Ground: America's Failed Arms Control Policy from FDR to Obama (2010)
Deal of the Century: How Iran Blocked the West's Road to War (2017)
Dealbreaker: Donald Trump and the Unmaking of the Iran Nuclear Deal (2018)
Scorpion King: America's Suicidal Embrace of Nuclear Weapons from FDR to Trump (2020)
Disarmament in the Time of Perestroika: Arms Control and the End of the Soviet Union (2022)
He has another book coming out soon.
He was an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps for about twelve years and was lead analyst for the Marine Corps Rapid Deployment Force concerning the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the Iran–Iraq War. From 1991 to 1998 he was a weapons inspector for the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM), charged with finding and destroying all WMDs and WMD-related manufacturing capabilities in Iraq. He was chief inspector in fourteen of the more than thirty inspection missions in which he participated.
He has pissed off a lot of people by telling the truth. Judge Nap has known him a long time and trusts him.
