Schiff Campaign Liaison

Eftychis, I am a Schiff supporter. I agree with his positions on issues and am genuinely excited about his candidacy. But, me being fired up also makes me impatient, and your last reply was 10 days ago...

My apologies, I was traveling.

Eftychis,

I have one simple question and home hoping for a direct answer. (i.e. not, "we are working to update it soon").

WHY is the most important part of the website, the home page, being neglected?!?! The NEWEST posts there are from EARLY November.

This shouldn't be something that "we are working on". Simply update the site right now if YOU must, there's vlogs that Peter has recorded that aren't even up there.

The perception to the public is that Peter is not doing anything. As a monthly contributor I want this fixed asap.

We are working to update it soon.

But in all seriousness, there is now more staff on hand to update this on a day to day basis.

Also note though that it is slightly more complicated, for legal reasons we need to separate Euro-Pacific promotion and campaign promotion and Peter often does both in his video blogs, which is why some things (articles, interviews, vblogs, etc...) that Peter does will not be posted on the Senate website.

For the campaign kickoff, can we show up any time between 6-9?

What sort of event is it?

Good point.

Kind of OT, but a good campaign suggestion nevertheless:
I was in West Hartford Center a couple of weeks ago, and I encountered Linda McMahon's campaign office. After scouting it a little bit, I realized that placing ads of some sort in West Harrtford Center would be a great way to detract some of the attention Linda gains from having her campaign office there.

*wipes sweat*

Well, I finished my web-raid for today. I hit up almost every article I could find that allowed commenting that was about Schiff, Rob Simmons, Linda McMahon, or Connecticut in general.

This is what I posted.

VOTE FOR REAL CHANGE!!

Peter Schiff. The man that predicted the economic crisis and who stands for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Check him out!

And check out how he schooled so called economists and analysts on the coming financial crisis back going back to 05'
YouTube - Peter Schiff was right (new) - 2002 to 2009 with exact dates.

He has been warning of an even greater crisis coming. Send the only real Republican candidate to Congress to stop it.

Vote for Schiff - Dump Dodd!!

What do you think?

One Good Moneybomb is worth a dozen worthless one's Get a date Promote, Promote, Promote and have the campaign's stop worrying about meeting quarterly goals.

Please get this to Peter:

Thomas Paine said that government is a necessary evil, not Jefferson.

In an interview with IC on the second amendment, he said that Jefferson said it. That's wrong. It was Paine.

Please get Schiff to quit using TR's "walk solfly and carry a big stick" line. TR was our first big intervention war monger president.

Eftychis,

Thanks for getting in touch with us on these forums. There seems to be an issue with the Wildfire volunteer site where you are only able to make 10 phone calls once and can not repeat the task/action request once completed. Users should be able to make 10 phone calls per day, repeatable every day. I think limiting it to 10 is a good security feature to prevent abuse such as mass data collection by malicious users masquerading as volunteers. You also don't want people to be overzealous in contacting potential supporters, as it may rub people the wrong way if they are inundated with calls.

Regardless of Roosevelt's notoriety, "walk softly and carry a big stick" is a home-run for every Connecticut Republican I know. Not only is this a sensible foreign policy outside of context; it's even more sensible when considering the voting demographics.

How is there no store up yet? T-shirts, sweat shirts, hats, coffee mugs, bumper stickers, yard signs, mouse pads, pins, decals, trading cards, neck ties, key chains, books, buttons, snuggie's etc.

I would TOTALLY buy a Schiff for Senate snuggie lol

I will buy a Schiff for Senate Snuggie!

Maybe we need a new thread for this. We demand our snuggies!

Not to sound condescending, but where is Schiff's ads in the televsion or radio? What about a campaign store? WHy is the website not constantly updated? If he aims to win this election, we need to flood Conencticut with Schiff's name in every way possible (not just volunteer phone calls to Republican voters). Blumanthal is, unfortunately, a respected official in Connecticut. I know several people that will now vote Democrat if Schiff's message is not spread now and spread fast.

  1. Site needs a store - not everyone lives in Milford like me who can just drive down to campaign HQ to pick up a bumper sticker.
  2. Donation widget needs to be updated so that the code can be embedded elsewhere.
  3. Donation widget needs to be more real-time, so people can take screenies and turn donating into a game during moneybombs. Besides, most of us are of the kind who need a pat on the back and want to perceive value, even if it's just seeing their name on a website.

It's quite disappointing it isn't. No big issue for regular days, but real-time ticker is a must for moneybomb days. I thought it's totally obvious since Paul's 2007 thermometer, which caught even me glued to the screen for almost all day.
And BTW wasn't it real-time before they redesigned Schiff's website a few months ago? Anyway, they dropped the ball.

Please add a paypal donation option as soon as possible. That's the best way I can contribute.:D
