I totally get what you are saying and do not disagree there is a place to take that approach.

I am looking at things this way this way. The puppet masters with a captivated child audience are being totally inappropriate as they are pulling strings in the puppet show. This is causing the children in the audience that do not know any better to fight with one another in support of their favorite puppet. I am thinking that we should be the adults in the room that go behind stage to deal with the puppet masters accordingly as any adult would when they see children effectively being abused. This rather than get caught up in the fight between the children.

btw - as far as that drag queen reference, from my dealing with the pundits on the right that claim to be outraged I seriously doubt that. That is likely all just part of the show. They know how the average folks feel about such things and use it for ratings-monetization. I have discussed 10x worse with these people and got allot of push back. They know over time it will eventually be accepted anyway as things like this are slowly introduced. This is the up hill battle we are dealing with.
