Oh my. The jet is headed to Ames, then hopping over to Tulsa? Exactly mirroring Trump's campaign itinerary? Dude. This might actually be happening. And what a splash it would make less than two weeks before Iowa. Should Palin's endorsement both come to fruition (there have been clues along the way), and push Trump over the top, emotionalist nationalistic populism will have officially supplanted principled, policy-driven, limited-government conservatism as the currently dominant strain within the American right-wing. It seems like she's going to endorse Donald Trump today. MSNBC is reporting she'll be at a Trump rally in Iowa today at 6:00 PM. Probably bad for Cruz.

she might, I remember Palin meeting with Trump in 2012 when she was trying to make a decision to run or not. She doesn't have the super pull she once did, but she has pull in Iowa, but she will take more from Cruz than Rand (if any at all). All you have to go to is www.conservatives4palin.com to see that the Cruz folks are upset, but Sarah has always been close to Trump, and I think she knows Cruz is a fake and I know Trump said in 2012 that he would back Sarah if she ran.

From Palin's POV: Trump isn't falling in the polls and seems to be a lock to be the favorite heading into the first round of primaries/caucuses. There being no one else who she could help take the first spot with her endorsement, it would just be leaving political capital on the table to not endorse Trump right now.
