Sarah Palin: "They can spend it better than the government".

That's a good little sheep voter. Just buy into those lesser of two evils like you are supposed to. *pats Chickhawk's head*

(Feeling concerned a little about the validity of Obama's pro-Israel spiel, are you? Can't go wrong with McCain, I assure you. He will protect the Chosen People at all costs! Israel first! America....somewhere back there!!)

It's not out responsibility to take care of Israel. Israel could probably win a war with just about anyone so I don't think they even need our help. What does that have to do with anything I said anyway?

I am with Deborak, chickenhawk and skeet. GO PALIN for a slither of change. A slither is better than 0. 3rd party vote =0 chance for any sort of change. tones

Seems like short term thinking to me. The more momentum we can give third parties, the sooner we have an honest to goodness bandwagon rolling and people start jumping on. If we don't have the slightest faith in third parties, who will?

If you vote for either of the major parties, you will never get liberty - never! Palin is there to try and steal the protest votes - period. Why would you let their dumb trick work?

If Ron Paul was concerned with that he would have endorsed Barr who CLEARLY would have gained the MOST for a 3rd party...the LP. He chose to sit in the middle of the fence AGAIN and now it's a worthless cause. NONE of them are going to make any sort of headway. If Barr gets 1% of the vote I'll be amazed. Baldwin isnt' even on the radar. Wake UP. dang! Whoever is telling Ron Paul to do these kinds of things should BEGONE. It gets us nowhere. At the VERY least he should have only stood with Barr and Baldwin...why the heck did he drag in Nader and McKinney?? They are so far off the Liberty mark it isnt' even funny. I'm going to be like Putin who said he likes Bush but doesn't like the people who are surrounding him. I say that about Ron Paul...I love Ron Paul but I'm not crazy about whoever is surrounding him giving him BAD advice. Bob Barr has a couple of those himself, Verney and Cory. Tones

Richiep...i do not believe McCain is even THINKING about the liberty movement. Not really. He got the Christian base and he's getting the blue collar democrats onboard..you know the "cling to guns and religion" people. Tones

In my opinion your right on the mark, but that doesn't change we we, on the grassroots, should do. Paul was far too concerned with going against the Repugnant party completely. Collectively, we need to say a big FU to them. We should all vote third party without fail. I'm voting for Barr, but I will not criticize someone for voting for any of the other third party candidates, as long as they vote for one of them. I will criticize someone for falling for the trap of voting for McSame of B.O thinking that somehow one of them is a little bit less bad.

I am voting for Palin..she is the only libertarian minded candidate that will get ANYWHERE...hopefully. McCain isnt' going to LAST for 8 years. He is 72 and ill. He will be 80 years old in two terms...PALIN can take this thing all the way to the top. THEN she can CLEAN HOUSE like she did in Alaska. The President has the POWER to make appointments. She can clean out the neocons. Nobody else would be able to do that. When God sends you a rowboat in a flood...GET in and start paddlin! TONES

Well, if McCain does die who will the inexperienced Palin turn to if not the McCain team already in place?

Tones, you were a dyed-in-the-wool Libertarian not very long ago. Do you really believe it can't be salvaged? If it can be salvaged, is not voting to give them better ballot access next round important?

I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet, but I have sympathy for those voting for McCain. Everyone I know who voted for Ron Paul is now voting for McCain. If two months ago someone told me it would end up that way I would have told them they were crazy. I know one person who is a Ron Paul supporter who won't vote for McCain but he didn't vote in the primary and probably won't vote in the general. That's the youth vote for you.

You must not have done much reading about ms. Palin. Read the articles about her on factcheck.com and lewrockwell.com. She may have said some good things about RP, but she's an establishment puppet.

That said, she would be a more competent president than McBamma. GAWD, we're fucked! :( I'm stocking up on frozen food in preparation for the coming shortages and riots. Hope you're doing something too.

Please see your admission on page 6 of this thread to being a Christian Zionist. As far as Im concerned when someone admits to that, everything else they say is suspect. You said you were going to vote for McCain to prevent BHO (which is what only neo-con zionists call him, btw) from winning. I've seen that same exact speil from many neo-con zionists over the past few months. You're not as slick as you think you are Chicky.

This sort of thing would be far more effective if you sprang it when he was spouting the company line than it is when he's bucking it as he is above. As it is, he hardly looks like a pro-Israel troll no matter what you say.

Sarah Palin really is an Moron... how the hell did she ever get elected in any of her positions? Then again, I look at Senator Robert "Tales From The Crypt" Byrd aka 'KKK homeboy' that's still barking DUST in Senate... Barely

I said I could be called a Zionist by some definitions and I said I was only considering voting McCain. I don't think that Israel should be getting our tax dollars even though I am more sympathetic to them than the Palestinians. I've seen Obama called alot of thing, and BHO is my favorite, so I use it sometimes. I'm not a neo-con by most definitions. That's not to say I don't agree with some typical neo-con positions. I think I've been pretty clear and honest where I stands on many of the issues that are seen as important around here. I agree with most and disagree with a few. So what?

Okay????? And......how does that help 3rd party voters????

Well, if there are enough votes, the third party electors will be elected and get to vote in the real election.

If that doesn't answer your question, then I guess I don't understand it.
