Sarah Palin - It's time for you to stand up!

And on the other hand, there are those who feel they need to be so ideologically pure that they can't see the value in an endorsement from a Republican with very high favorability ratings in the party.

Ron Paul is so ideologically pure that he will speak truth directly to power, does not sugarcoat answers for his audience, and never panders for a vote.

Romney/Palin 2012

This match made in hell is far more likely than a Palin endorsement for RP. She will endorse RP only when it will be detrimental not to. The only thing Palin wants is money, power, and fuel for her narcissism. She will endorse only if it looks like Romney and Grinch are going down.

It makes a great story but wont ever happen... but I could see her supporting him if he got the nomination.

Much of the criticism of Palin when she came on the scene in ’08 was warranted. She was being force fed talking points from the McCain handlers, and had a hard time reciting them without looking like an absolute moron.

She bumbled and stumbled at the simplest of questions because her knowledge of the issues is shallow. Dr. Paul is on a completely different level, and knows economics and history inside and out. He is a real threat to the elites and their global schemes. Palin is not.

I am sick and tired of hearing liberal mantra that whoever doesn't agree with them is stupid. Clinton is brilliant, Obama is smart, but Bush is damn, Reagan is an idiot, and Palin is "seriously lobotomized?" What kind of geniuses are we to repeat that?

One of the main charges against her is that she didn't answer right away what sources she used for news. She probably didn't want to give credit to New York Times and CNN - most of the news sources are too liberal.

Besides, do we want a politician to be smarter than we are? So that it'll be easier for him to convince us to pay for what he wants?

I know that when Obama became the President, she was probably the single voice who wasn't afraid to speak against him. Especially at the beginning, when he was very popular. And when almost everybody else was silent.

Like right now, when Ron is under attack.

VERY true! Many Liberals think they are better than everyone else, and their arrogance is sickening, and that will be their downfall. Same applies to the neocons, as they are really no different from the Liberals. :)

Yea, its not gonna happen. I dont think it would hurt Ron at all, it definitely would help, because virtually all of her base are sheep, and the worst kind of the lot. The problem is, and its a big one, is that when it boils down to it, she is really just the 'happy face' and inside agent of the whole neo con establishment. Her whole Tea Party involvement is what basically led to its downfall, long before Gingrich and others poisoned it. She is really only looking out for her best interests and her own survival, fame and who will put her in the spot light. What i dont even think she, herself, even realizes either, is that she is just being used by the power elites, and i am sure most of them can't stand her too. But the fact that she is in bed with Murdoch Political Party (aka FOX) cancels out all hope of her endorsing Ron, unless she actually woke the hell up and realized how much she is being used by them.

When did I say that I wouldn't value her endorsement? It'd be a great push after or right before NH. I'm just saying that all criticisms people have of her are completely legitemate. She's an insult to anyone's intelligence.

Haha, go play my-dad-can-beat-up-your-dad in fourth grade, dude. I don't care about your partisan circle jerk. Yes, liberal mantra. An-caps tend to spout "librul talking points' ad nauseum. No. She's stupid. She's 1 IQ point away from drooling into a cup. Just because the 'mean ol' mainstweam media' said 'bad things about her' and called her stupid doesn't mean that she isn't. She was just such an easy target to pick on. Like the kid with a crookedly buttoned shirt who's still carrying a Looney Tunes backpack at age 17 and avoids eye contact with his fellow students at lunch.

Or the overweight kid whose shorts always slipped down to show his ass crack, and who always had fresh chocolate stains around his lips. :D

Oh and who you can hear talking from one end of the school lol

I'm not a Palin fan by far, but an endorsement couldn't hurt. It's all a numbers game. We know Paul's support is solid, and no one will NOT vote for him because of a Palin endorsement. Even if her endorsement only matters to 5% of Republicans, that's still huge. She's had very nice things to say about Paul several times, and I get the feeling she kind of wants to endorse him. If she went ahead and did it, I'd forgive a lot.

Um. Not sure if you realized this or not, but that street goes both ways. That's a major facet of the problem with American politics today, both sides assume the other side is stupid and don't listen to them. You're guilty of this way of thinking in this very sentence, calling it a 'liberal mantra' when it's exactly what both sides do.

Haha, you are stupid. And this quote is the proof, as opposed to your baseless accusations.

I might have been deaf, but I didn't hear people accuse Obama that he is stupid. How is "potatoe" worse than "advise?" Sarah Palin never mentioned 57 states.

By the way, A lot of people hate her.

Stay away from Ron Paul, please.

By the way, many of the Republicans that we are most likely to win over to RP DO like her.

She endorsed Rand and when I was calling for his campaign, quite a few people mentioned that this was a positive.

Sarah Palin has been an ONI operative since she was 22. Her and her hubby were dropping off and picking up US agents on the Russian shores opposite Alaska..Hence you hear her say she can see Russia. She is good with firearms and survival techniques..hint hint..and for a housemarm she sure handled alot of good ol boyz with a velvet glove knockout. How did that happen??

Something to ponder.

Or the pain in the ass kids who choose to pick on others just so they can be accepted by the herd. "lol"

This is a second time in recent history the media is killing a good candidate.

Sarah, you've been there. You know what it's like to be blindly unfairly media-mob attacked.

After Iowa, whether Ron Paul wins or loses, you will not have a greater chance to live your trace in history. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Stand up for Ron Paul defense!

I seriously doubt she will do this for what could be several reasons, not the least of which is that I suspect she is a training-wheels neocon. This seems to be particularly so in the foreign policy area where she has appeared to my eyes to have a great and throbbing neoconesque-woodie for the massacring of all those icky people whom she says wants to destroy the USA, one pipe bomb at a time. Definite pro-security state leanings there. I have heard far too many comments directly from her pie-hole that paint her intellect as that of a TV caricature 1950s narrow-band American housewife in its simplistic and plainly wrong world view. Perhaps it is partly her expressive style which, unlike many, I find campy and unsophisticated in her apparent over-reaching and contrived efforts to appear "down home".

She is not as bad as Bachmann in those terms, but she is in the same stylistic vein and much of what comes out of her mouth comes off as goofy to the point of non-credibility, similarly to the semi-crazed meme-loops into which Bachmann gets stuck, repeating her own sound bites like "moms... moms... moms..." to the point I thought the woman was in serious need of a heavy dose of thorazine or a slap upside her head to get her record unstuck. When Palin wanders into the "let's bomb them all into extinction" section of the petri dish, her overly worked and artificial timbre takes on that of a manic lunatic in similar need of medication and a quiet, locked room on the coast Maine.

The expressive-style explanation, however, can go only so far. Beyond that content takes over in painting the rest of the picture of one's character and in Palin's case what remains is nothing with which to be happy. Hence the opinion that she is just a neocon parrot because I am not at all convinced she understands the issues nearly enough to have formed her own opinions. This could be for a number of possible reasons that include but are not limited to ignorance, lack of intellectual horsepower to dope it out on her own, bad advisors "educating" her, and the belief that she must appeal to what she feels "the country" wants to hear, which reveals her as nothing but another low rent political whore with endlessly pliable morals bending with with the breezes of momentary expedience. There are pleny of other candidate explanations, none of which serve to inspire confidence or trust.

Given all of this, I wonder whether having the endorsement of such a weak or otherwise ignorant character would actually serve as a credit or a debit for the Ron Paul campaign. I cannot really say, but Pain's opinions on anything mean next to nothing positive for me.

I think he needs the endorsements of people whose opinions actually matter for something, and those need to me loud and clear about it.

FWIW.

The ONI does not hire folks with IQ's such as you described. She has been doing work for them since she was 22. So, ya'all think because you watch the boob tube you got a full grip on the scenery. All of these personalities just bubble up out of the quantum vacuum with no prior existence?
