Santorum backs nullifying existing gay marriages, Spread it!

Be interesting to see if this stops his collapse in nationwide ratings , according to Gallup he will be overtaken by Gingrich within the next few days at this rate.

Gay marriage is already decriminalized nationwide. That's good enough for me.

I gotta say Rick is wrong on this issue. The mere fact that he says he'll "unmarry" them makes me disagree with him. Homosexuals can't get married to begin with, marriage between people of the same gender makes as much sense marriage between a squirrel and a deck chair from the titanic. It just doesn't exist. Marriage can only be between a man and a woman, and it is a strictly religious matter.

Government can't marry a man and a woman. Government can't marry two men. Government can't marry a dog and a donut. Marriage can only exist as a religious sacrament between one man and one woman. Rick being a Catholic (apparently) should understand his.

It really makes me laugh when people always say Santorum/Gingrich/Romney says this "XXXXX," when it is a position that is widely accepted in the GOP party. Something that would never hurt. Then people want to spread the comment Ron said about Rush about his apology not being sincere....as if that would help with GOP primary voters. These people really are clueless as to how to win a primary. It would Ron in a general election (third party run or as the nominee) and would hurt the other three in the general, but we are in the primary.

This needs to spread and destroy Santorum for good because he should know there are gay Republicans to.
heres the news.

Santorum is a Moron, i dont understand why some people would rather vote for him.
Its like voting for the devil.

I am just trying to figure out where the people are that understand TARGETING your base audience. Santorum understands this, Ron Paul's campaign does not. While I think this is an absolutely stupid issue to even bring up, this will effect Santorum little to nothing in the primary....

Apparently we were typing at the same time...

I agree. It seems like a lot or most of the people who post here are former Democrats who now support Ron Paul because he wants to end the wars overseas. I certainly don't get the feeling that most people who post here understand how to reach out to and win over conservative Republican primary voters.

Reminded me of this logic.. I haven't seen this clip yet, might be threadworthy:

Seems to me to be the case as well. No problem with thinking that, but we are trying to win the Republican primary. Simply as that!

Once again we will all fight over social issues while our country sits blazing.

To be Honest I am kind of praying for a crash, so everyone can finally see how pathetic we have all become.

Exhibit A:

Yes, I agree. But, unfortunately, it will probably work on some Republicans.

I seriously doubt many gay Republicans are supporting him. This issue, in my opinion, won't do much to hurt Santorum, except in the general.

I think most republicans sy away from this even if they believe it, they know he woudl get destroyed in the general election with statements like this...

Yeah. And it's good that many Democrats are seeing the light and supporting Ron Paul, but the bottom line is that Ron is running in a Republican primary where the vast majority of voters are conservative Republicans. He has to appeal to conservative Republicans, and he can't do that by criticizing Rick Santorum on the gay marriage issue or critizing Rush Limbaugh. That just makes conservatives think that he really isn't one of them.
