Santorum asks for debt relief for his campaign

I don't understand how he is in debt. He ran on fumes until Iowa, and did fine staying alive then. He wins some states and raises a ton of money and now he's in debt. That is some of the poorest money management I've seen.

If he really has debt, he will be endorsing Mittler for a promise of retiring the debt. Romney made out quite well on endorsing McInsane last time. I think they handed him at least 35 million that he'd loaned to his own campaign. It may have been as much as 45 million.

If he doesn't really have debt, then he's angling for more money for a "think" tank. My guess, he'll call it the Campaign 4 Unliberty. And he can roll the funds raised under false pretenses into it, and give himself a handsome salary from it as well. Sounds about right.

If he uses money for retiring for debt raised AFTER he had plans to start the think tank into it without mentioning the think tank it would be under false circumstances. But if he just rolled extra money into that and planning the think tank after money rolled in past when it was most needed, or raised new funds asking for funds for that specifically, it wouldn't be false pretenses.

This...

If he can't get the debt paid off by his supporters, hes' going to end up endorsing Romney to get it paid off by Romney's campaign or the the RNC.

All this is a media stunt that in turn will get the romeny camp to pay it off. After the deal is struck the endorsment will come.

I do not put it past any of these laundry list conservatives to raise money under false pretenses. In fact, my email fills up with messages from these holier than thou hypocrites who never do one tangible thing for their supposed issue, while always attaching a request for money to each email. And they raise a lot of money doing this. I call it "moron farming." And this is one case in which farmers are actually raking in the dough.

Santorum was never a serious candidate.
I'm not helping out with the bills, not even for an endorsement. The media only ever covered him for laughs. If he decides to endorse Ron (I shouldn't even say "if" because it's not going to happen) then the "media" will bring a single balloon with a sharpie-drawn flag on it and shoot the event with an iPhone.
And it'll get seven million views as everyone in the echo chamber dreams about it meaning something.

If Santorum supporters want to support a conservative, they have one last chance.
They're not going to. They're going to line up behind Romney because of the Oboogeyman.
If Santorum supporters are reading this: Look, we've been clear about this from the beginning. We're not throwing our support anywhere else.
We've always been the deal breaker for Romney. Santorum was never the deal breaker.
Romney has already lost the general. You can either stand on principle and join us, or you can waffle and go with Obama-lite.

But I would have thought we'd all learn that by now that nobody's coming to help us.
They're not going to help us.
They're going to continue to get woken up slowly. There's no rushing it.
Stop talking about helping them, and keep planning to steal what should have been ours to begin with, if so many people hadn't been hoodwinked into supporting the point-and-laugh candidate.
