I'm in SC TV territory (although I'm marginally in North Carolina, I am subjected to South Carolina's lousy programming), and I have seen the Santa Rita Super PAC's ads several times on CNN tonight.

They've played the one with the many "faces of big government" a few times tonight.

I wasn't exactly impressed, but it may succeed in scaring some South Carolinians.

However, some of you folks around here make videos with better production quality than that spot.

I'd like to volunteer my time to the campaign in South Carolina -- what's the best way for me to do that?
Thanks.

Yeah, they leave much to be desired in production value. and the poll at the end goes by so fast its hard to see all the numbers.

The masks ad? WHY?

Why the hell didn't they pay someone to make good ads? Test the ads? Not go after the Republicans that SC loves? Yeah, let's attack DeMint next

$300,000 of this?!

Seriously though, am I best just doing PFH, or should I drive 5 miles across the border and do something?

Yeah, already did a few weeks ago. I've been phoning from home. I was just wondering whether or not there were less formal activities taking place.

I find it really hard to believe that somebody would just blow 300k without testing, polling, marketing smarts, etc. I'm just hoping i can't see how good they are because I'm not the target demographic...

the unelectable reagan one is the best especially since thats the one thing harped on more than anything that hes electable.

I assume it's this since it's the one on their youtube channel that seem to best fit your description at first glance. And I certainly agree with the sentiment here, though I had misread and thought it was revPAC who made it which obviously surprised me. This was bad though. Can't they just "buy" an ad from revPAC for a "good" price and run that one.

Yeah, I'm not either. Maybe it's the other guys who this appeals to? I'm just hoping there's some mad genius behind this, and not Ron Paul's rich second cousin from Houston (this is a hypothetical person).

It's actually this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fta4EkJSh14&feature=related

I think I said "faces" rather than "masks." Sorry. Early Rod Stewart on the brain.

Who is this odd person pictured at the end of their ads?
